First I tried to make a calypso song. But I was unable to do it... So I changed it into a 80's style track.

My daughter Daphné (5) wanted to sing on that song, so I recorded her.

Made with Ardour (DAW), Rosegarden (midi), Hydrogen on Ubuntu Studio. I used my voice and my guitar.

I was really interested to write a story for this song.

We had in mind to create a summer song along the lines of Club Tropicana by the unforgettable Wham! with the addition of an arpeggio inspired by Rio by Duran Duran, something with an '80s vibe. But in the end, this is what came out... you be the judge!

So, I was texting a friend, and I was really tired and I was told to go to sleep and I said, "It's for the best."  Couple days later God threw me a curveball and I find myself thinking Is it really for the best that this new event is happening?  Of course, His will is the only way, but sometimes it brings earthly pain and sadness.  The song was originally titled "It's For The Best" from that tired night, but now that it's done, I changed it to reflect how I am feeling right now.  Thanks for listening y'all this one is a beast! I am 17 years old and a singer / songwriter. I started my Music Career 4 years ago. 
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to sing and create music. When I was 8, the Music Teacher at school told me I couldn’t sing, and not to think about a future in music.
