Today media is manipulating public awareness of and opinions on pop music. “Lie Comparing the commercial power behind media to a turntable, and media to a gramophone, “Lie Gramophone” mocks mainstream music as it found mainstream music is a lie, it keeps deceiving the public. The electronic band was set up in the end of 2009. The members came from the background of rock music. They decided to adopt “Lie Gramophone” as the name of the band to convey their beliefs through their music. 

Lie Gramophone is bold in creative and music genres. The portfolio is versatile: Post-Techno, Dance Rock, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House, and Hip-Hop. Its music is international and giving the Taiwan music scene a difference. 

Lie Gramophone is the first to have live drums, a breakthrough, among Taiwanese electronic bands and in Mandarin-speaking markets. Its live acts are not only a deliverance of auditory power but a feast of immediate musical visual sensation. Lie Gramophone is a true and rare band in Taiwan with complete and professional visual arts background. Its works overturn traditional audio-visual mode and embrace a variety of arts integration.



Sensation commenced in Amsterdam in 2000, and since then over a million people across the world have experienced one of the most spectacular dance and music phenomenons in the world.

The first ever Sensation took place at the Amsterdam ArenA – home of Ajax football club, and was experienced by 20,000 clubbers. The following year, Sensation as we know it was born. As a tribute to his brother Miles, who helped found ID&T before sadly dying in a car accident, Duncan Stutterheim, Sensation CEO, asked visitors to dress in white as people did at Miles’ funeral. Numbers had doubled from the first year, and eighty percent of the 40,000 attendees did so, creating an image so staggering that the dress code has remained the same ever since.

Sensation has expanded beyond Amsterdam, with shows in countries across Europe including Germany, Belgium, Russia and Poland. Keep checking the tour schedule for 2009 – Sensation is planned to take place in 22 countries to date, including Australia, Spain, UK, South America, and more… Sensation will be coming to a city near you!
