Well, here I am again, it's 3AM, tossin and turnin
Why have I got an open eye on my achnin mind as it's a'churnin?
Where is the curtain that my secrets need to keep
All the darkness hidden deep inside of me
Why must I be alone with these anxieties
When I should be dreamin
I wish I could be dreamin

I'm all alone crawling around this dark cathedral 
Groping the ground to find a match to light a candle
Echoes of my fears like ghosts inside the gears
And I just want to fall back asleep
Why can't I just fall back asleep for a little while?

Now, it's late in the day, you hit the hay, big day tomorrow
And you try lying there awake counting mistakes to calm your spirit
But your body is fighting something that you caught
Your head is hurting and your cough's keepin you up
Tea in the kitchen panicked about tomorrow's talk
