Wonder

This song was inspired by a trip taken to Hawaii by the Ouachita Baptist University Wind Ensemble.  We were playing for a "missionary kids conference" in the Aloha Bowl and got to stay for 7 days.  By the 3rd day the conference was moved to a smaller venue and from that point we never knew if the event was going to occur that night or not.  During the day we were free to go explore the island and the beauty we saw in the Lord's creation was indescribable.  

This song was recording in my new studio using a Mac Pro running Digital Performer 8.  The main instruments were: Roland Fantom G8, PPG Wave 2.3 wavetable synth plug-in, Prophet 5 analog synth plug-in, Prophet VS vectoring synth plug-inJupiter 8 analog synth plug-in, NLog Poly Synth plug-in, Parker Fly Deluxe, Parker Bronze Fly, Larrivee LV-03E, Ibanez ART-100, Line 6 POD500, Rode NT1, Roland DS90 digital reference monitors, Presonus FireStudio Mobile interface.  

Work Of Your Hands 2014 VS 4 Mix

This was the first fully produced song from my new studio.  It was written about 20 years ago and was a staple in the Time of Silence setlist.  The recording was done using MOTU DP8, with various plug-ins and VSTs.  Every guitar part was recorded direct without effects, amps, or any other processing.  The amps and effects were added later.  The keys included VSTs simulating the Roland Jupiter 8, the Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, the Roland D-50, and an Obreheim OBXa.
