Largely regarded as one of the most distinctive, powerful acts to emerge in bass music, their production techniques are referenced and praised across the entire electronic music scene. Since launching the Datsik brand, Troy Beetles continues to evolve as a solo artist all the while pushing his beloved bass music world to new lengths, both on a personal artistry level and as a genre as a whole. From bedroom producer to chart-topping artist, internationally touring act, and owner and founder of the enterprising Firepower Records, Datsik is poised to make bass music the sound of the future with his recent Down 4 My Ninjas EP (Nov. 2014 / Firepower Records) and upcoming release Smoke Bomb ft. Snoop Dogg (Nov. 2015 / Ultra Records). 

Datsik took his initial steps into global dominance in 2009 with his first official release, the Nuke ‘Em EP, which set the new precedence of the future of dubstep and bass music. Immediately following that was the Boom EP featuring Excision and the legendary Flux Pavilion as collaborators. In that same year, Datsik claimed 10 Beatport #1 releases. Additionally, he has also released massive remixes for dance music icons Skrillex, Diplo, Kaskade, and Zedd, as well as two collaborations with Bassnectar and two more with Diplo on his Express Yourself EP. He has also remixed artists from the mainstream pop world and hip-hop spheres such as Coldplay, Lil Wayne, MGMT, Linkin Park, Wu-Tang Clan, one of the biggest influences on his sound, and, most recently, Lana Del Rey.

Nonetheless, Vitamin D, his debut artist album released on Dim Mak Records in 2012, remains his gleaming trophy of work. Rightfully so, as Vitamin D was the first project to illustrate the full spectrum of Datsik’s production cannon and to give glimpses of the artist’s potential as a producer and songwriter. Vitamin D was the first major milestone of many to come in the Datsik storyline. The next chapter came in 2013 in the form of a two-part release, the Cold Blooded EP and the corresponding Let It Burn full-length album, both released on Firepower. While shorter in length, Cold Blooded packs as much a punch as big brother Let It Burn. Hand in hand, Cold Blooded and Let It Burn comprise the knockout one-two punch in Datsik’s artillery.

Datsik stands at a point of transition with his recent EP Down 4 My Ninjas. It exemplifies a more mature Datsik, both in sound and in vision, as it sees the producer taking vast steps outside of dubstep and deeper into his ever-burning fondness for hip-hop. In essence, it is his love letter to the hip-hop and bass music genres and sees a full circle for Datsik as it combines the best of both worlds. Featuring collaborations with DJ Paul of renowned Southern rap group Three 6 Mafia and the legendary KRS-One, Down 4 My Ninjas sees Datsik keeping one foot in bass and one foot in hip-hop and, for the first time ever, sees the artist pairing his original productions with bona fide, universally celebrated members of the rap world. 

With Down 4 My Ninjas in tow and a hefty supporting tour scheduled for 2015, expectations are higher than they’ve ever been for Datsik. Beetles welcomes the challenge, though. It’s what’s kept him developing since those bedroom producer days, and it’s what verifies Datsik as one of the leading figures in the bass music scene of today and tomorrow.

Animal Music are a four piece live drum and bass band from Cambridge - now living in North London. The band consist of Pete Pocket, Tom Cane, Tom Sutcliffe and Andrew McKenzie.

Having formed in early 2013 from a DJ/Producer partnership between Pocket and Cane the band quickly recruited McKenzie as their drummer/video maker and Sutcliffe as their lead singer.

With an appetite for creativity and travel there quickly came a flurry of activity which saw them tour Europe extensively with their live show and Dj sets supporting bands like The Prodigy, Chase and Status, Rudimental and many many more. Festival appearances rolled in and the band played out at Pukklepop in Belgium through Woodstock in Poland and Secret Garden Party back home. 

Support across the board has been gathering for the boys taking shape with mini mixes for Mista Jam on 1xtra and Eddy Temple-Morris on XFM, to the bands own guest show - prime time on Radio One's own Dance Station.

Animal Music deliver a fresh interpretation of drum and bass in traditional verse chorus style songs. Their own productions move away from the heavier sounds associated with the genre and concentrate on melody and lyrics. While in the live and DJ arena the band are a blistering force to be reckoned with. Snarling with energy and emotion rarely stopping to let up or slow down.

Wilkinson is one of the UK’s most beloved and successful electronic artists. Hailing from South-West London, his first insight into making music came aged 9 when his parents bought him a drum kit. After performing in bands across the UK from the Birmingham NEC to the local old people’s home; everything changed at 14 when
he discovered his passion for dance music. In his final year at college he bought his first production equipment, turned his bed-room into a studio and started a journey that would take him around the world.


After cutting his teeth on legendary drum & bass labels Ram Records & Hospital, Wilkinson would release a run of hit singles like 'Tonight', 'Take You Higher’ and 'Too Close' which cemented hum as one of the most exciting new producers within UK dance music. He had early chart success in the UK Top 40 with his singles 'Half Light',
‘Dirty Love’ and ‘Hopelessly Coping’. Everything changed with the release of his iconic 2013 record ‘Afterglow’, which became a top 5 hit in the UK, sold over 3 million copies, racked up over 500 million streams and became certified triple Platinum in the UK.


To date Wilkinson has sold a mighty 6 million singles and garnered over one BILLION online streams! He’s released three extremely successful solo albums, ‘Lazers Not Included’, ‘Hypnotic’ and ‘Cognition’. The latter released on his own label Sleepless Music became the most successful drum & bass album for over a decade,
charting at #1 on the OCC Official Dance Chart and at #3 in New Zealand’s album charts. The record included two Top 40 hit singles ‘Here For You’ with Becky Hill and the BBC Radio 1 A-List playlisted ‘Used To This’ with Issey Cross.


As well as solo he has amassed a hugely successful discography of hits, including a 2020 collaborative album with fellow Drum & Bass titan Sub Focus, remixes and collaborations with the likes of Rag N Bone Man, The Prodigy, Ed Sheeran, Chase & Status, Wretch 32, Naughty Boy, Laura Mvula and Becky Hill. 


He’s won ‘Best Single’, ‘Best Album’, ‘Best Video’, ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best Live Act' at the National Drum & Bass Awards, not
to mention the VEVO Viewers Award at the MVA’s. Remarkably he’s also been playlisted by BBC Radio 1 17 times!


On top of his insane release history, Wilkinson has also built a hugely successful live career by consistently touring around the world over the past decade. He’s sold out a remarkable three headline shows at the iconic Brixton Academy, played headlining sets at some of the world’s premiere festivals including Glastonbury, BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, Reading & Leeds, Creamfields, Snowbombing, Pukkelpop, Sziget, Rhythm & Vines and EDC Las Vegas among many others, held down multiple Ibiza residencies at Amnesia and toured around the world from New York to New Zealand.


In the last year Wilkinson has gone from strength to strength, releasing a string of huge singles including ‘Shine On’ with American dance music superstar Kaskade, ‘Balance’ with newcomer North which spent 10 weeks on the BBC Radio 1 Playlist and official remixes for Calvin Harris, John Summit and KETTAMA. 


For 2025 he shows no signs of slowing down with his two shows at Outernet London selling out in an hour, his biggest NZ festival show ever to over 17,000 people, plus his biggest ever headline show at Alexandre Palace on Nov 8th!
