Klarified Music Kollective is about quality over quantity, and embracing the music that unifies us all. As a music community, our purpose is unity, with no genre boundaries; and to share with one another from every edge of the globe, our fuel…..MUSIC. As a member of Klarified Music Kollective, you will be an integral piece, working together as an ever-evolving part; bridging the gap between genres, having peer-to-peer interaction, and delivering your professional input as a part of this culture. The overall goal is to celebrate you the artists, the DJ’s, the music, showcase new up & coming artists, labels, events, and to create a viable network to perpetuate this music culture that we all love. 
Klarified Music Kollective was an idea fueled by many artists, and experiences, discussed and now realized by 2 souls connected by music, 1 of which is no longer with us. This ideal comes from a place of spiritual purity. So many of you have been contributors to this already, which is where we’re starting.  I dedicate all that we do as a “Kollective” to my friend/brother/soulmate Adam Butterfield, as well as give back to one another through music.

Darren C 

Purveyor of groove driven sonic frequencies, forging a synergy of infectious dance with elevating sounds…

Over the past 2 years, Darren has been creating a storm on the dance music scene. His vivacious, broad ranging style encompasses heavy kicks and baselines, elevating melodic sounds delivering groove, spanning the house and techno spectrum.

Growing up, Darren was influenced by many sounds, from his Mother’s Motown & Dad’s ELO music collections. This started the musical journey but with the late 80s, came ‘electronic sounds’. With synths & 909 drum machines, the journey became the mission… 

This nurtured a passionate love for music from an early age.
Darren began to focus on a DJ career in the late 90s. Dj inspiration came from the ‘fierce ruling’ Trade DJ’s Malcolm Duffy, Steve Thomas, Pete Wardman & the late Tony De Vit. Before long, Laurence Malice of Trade invited Darren to play as a guest in the Trade Test Lounge, being known as one of the most prolific breeding grounds of DJs.

After playing at nearly every Trade Test Lounge, Darren decided he wanted a part of the action closer to home. He went to Infamous in Bristol to meet with the promoter, who loved his music and gave him a monthly residency.

Since then, Darren's DJ career has progressed, playing at ADE in 2015 alongside Anti Slam & W.E.A.P.O.N., Ant Brooks, Steve Mulder, Richie Santana & Spartaque. 

With sets across the UK including Bournemouth, Birmingham and Cardiff, Darren also has a strong focus within Bristol. He is resident at Whomp & has regular guest appearances for Banjaxx, Funkin House, 4to The Floor & The Avenue.

Darren’s music career has expanded to producer and A&R manager for Jumpstereo Records.
His recent productions have been signed to many labels including:
