Having initially met in a club toilet in 2015 (listen to the conversation for the full story on this!), Luke Folks and Owen Griffiths immediately bonded over similar tastes in music and soon formed the duo Monica. 

From their early beginnings on Brighton's @codesouthradio , they quickly forged a reputation DJing on the Brighton club circuit, as well as putting on their own night Foucault, which has seen them book the likes of respected artists such as @aerrra , @skatman-official , @manpower-1 and @dc-salas . 

Over the past couple of years, their hard work and commitment to developing their own sound has finally come to fruition, with releases on @reculturelondon , @appliedmagicrecords and more recently, Eastern standard .

Listen to them chat candidly with @richard_q about their approach to producing music as a duo as well as the challenges and moments of self-doubt they’ve faced along the way. This is definitely one for any producers or promoters out there trying to make it in the dance music biz at the moment.

Stephen Red’s sound is comprised of deep, psychedelic rhythms that will no doubt get your body moving.  Stephen came on the scene after attending Lightning In A Bottle festival in 2018, and the rest was history.  After immersing himself in festival and club culture, he began mixing and started a future for himself in the global dance scene.  His mantra is to "follow the music" and everything will fall into place.
