Tony Built’s career as a DJ/Video DJ spans 18 years, including residencies at Splash, XL Nightclub, Bartini, Boxers Bar, The Ritz, and SPIN NY 23 in Manhattan. As well as,10 seasons as a resident DJ/VJ every Sunday night (where Tony created, produced and lauched the original Showtunes Sunday) in The Pines on Fire Island.  He has also worked there in multiple venues including the legendary Pavilion and the Blue Whale.Tony has played multiple parties, as both DJ & VJ aboard ship for RSVP Vacations, on several cruises, since 2014.He has also been producing music and video for Atlantis Events since 2004. On Atlantis & RSVP cruises, you can always find the Tony Built TV channel in your stateroom, running 24/7 for added entertainment.Whether it's spinning for an elite event in the ballroom at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, or the first wedding of gay partners at The Maidstone Club in East Hampton, or at nightclubs around the country and around the world, Tony Built has an unusual ability to read the energy of the room, connect with his audience and take them with him on a journey across different musical genres, like Dance, vocal-house, hip-hop, pop, and tribal.

A little history....In the 90's I spun at Tracks (DC), March (Atlanta), The Eagle (Atlanta), The Gray Party (Houston) 119 Merrimack (Boston) and once at The Spike (NYC) during Pride.   Playing gigs and working at record stores was not paying the bills so I put the turn tables away, went back to school and got steady work, and benefits, in IT support.   

In 2009 I moved to Hull, MA and in 2013, got involved with Hull Pride (hullpride.net).  Started spinning again digitally at our events a few times a year and loving this little sea side town just outside of Boston.   In the summer of 2021 as we came out of the pandemic, The Alley Bar, Boston, invited me to spin so this presented the opportunity to be more free on what I enjoy playing but still pleasing the crowd with house, disco, EDM, and Tech House. The desert was calling and made the move out west.   I'm now settled in Cathedral City (Palm Springs) and loving life here.   I'm working on some live spinning but will post more sets as I'm inspired.

One of the most successful DJ-songwriter-producer-remixers in the world, Native New Yorker Tony Moran's thunderous songs and tracks have appeared on over 50 million albums worldwide. 

A two-time Grammy nominee, he has released nearly 1000 titles, dozens of top 40 pop hits and countless remixes, many of which have earned special acclaim as Billboard Club Play #1 Songs. He has worked directly with Cher, Rihanna, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Gloria Estefan, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Luther Vandross as well as many up-and-comers and our favorite divas on his own record label, Mr. Tan Man Music / Sugar House.

He is currently officially remixing the new Cher single and has a long list of offers to remix and produce the world's greatest pop artists. His new collaboration with Todd Terry and legend Martha Wash is primed to be a future club classic, and Tony's own label has singles that will be re-released as the mega-producer is widening his creative scope beyond the USA by Anastacia, Frenchie Davis, Ultra Naté, Kristine W, Vernessa Mitchell, and many more, including artists whom he is developing from scratch.

In 2014, in conjunction with XL Nightclub, Tony will be taking Destination on the road to new markets and to reach new fans. But there's nothing like catching him at home at XL Nightclub.
