Super Capsule is the culmination of Josh Curry’s many bedroom recordings and demos. The band has been recording and performing as a four piece band since 2014, and their upcoming, debut EP blends their eclectic influences into a cohesive sound; imagine if surf legend Takeshi Terauchi led a summer guitar camp attended by Stephen Malkmus and Robert Pollard. Their mantra: never turn your back on the ocean.

Fred and Ben knew each other from school, but it wasn’t until the pair met after moving to Canterbury to study that they realized they shared a love of traditional music and cycling. Thus began their musical journey. They started busking together but as winter came it dawned on them that there was a lack of tunes session in Canterbury. So with the help of a friendly landlord, they set up a night at The Canterbury Tales, which still runs today. From this session grew the band Triskele, their first official musical venture and it was not long before they were in high demand, both on the pub scene and the local music venue circuit. After graduating in 2012 Fred moved up to London, to join the blooming session scene there, whilst Ben stayed in Canterbury. However, the pair did not wish their musical journey to end just yet, and so Radigun was born! They are a largely instrumental group, which bring together tunes from the dispersed Celtic traditions. With inventive arrangements and enigmatic stage presence they hope to bring traditonal music to places that it would not normally reach.

I grew up in New Jersey and live in Buenos Aires. Here in my little living room studio, I try to make great songs. It usually doesn't work out, but I have a good time. Hope you have a good time listening too <3
