Urenus EP by Juri Heidemann

Muellair rolls right in. A hefty kick combined with groove-oriented percussions and a detuned synthline that stretches over the entire track but never gets boring due to subtle changes and nuances in the sound. This track is heavily inspired by early 2000s techno with a touch of tribal and hardgroove.

Monnom Black presents” Legacy”, an introspective journey through the illustrious career of the legendary German electronic artist, Thomas P. Heckmann. This momentous release marks the first time Heckmann curates a comprehensive compilation, delving into all his various aliases and timeless tracks, including Knarz, AGE, Heckmann, Skydiver, Spectral Emotions, Purple Plejade, and the infamous DRAX, which commemorates its 30th anniversary this year.

"Legacy" encompasses a total of 23 tracks, 17 slated across three slabs of vinyl with an additonal six digital bonuses, featuring the cream of Heckmann's underground hits, such as "Himmel Und Hoelle," "Tanzmaschine," "Teufelswerk," and "EBM1," alongside lesser-known gems like "Chiswick Days" and "Parnophelia."

Throughout his career, Heckmann has showcased his prowess across multiple shades of electronic genres. However, it is his contributions to Industrial, EBM-Techno, Acid, and Experimental that have propelled him to notoriety. In 1994, Heckmann's acid-infused masterpiece, "Amphetamine" as DRAX LTD. II, launched him into the global spotlight as a force to be reckoned with.

Having released his latest studio album, "Body Music," in 2018 on Monnom Black, Heckmann subsequently featured on The World of Monnom Black compilations. Now, he returns to celebrate his groundbreaking contributions to electronic music and enduring Legacy with this special release.

Mateo Robles aka NØVEK was born in Mar del Plata (Argentina). NØVEK's sound is nourished by a sonic flexibility, allowing him to oscillate and merge elements and characteristics of Techno (Raw/Deep/Hypnotic) and Minimal, without being limited or encased in a single genre. Both in his dj sets and productions, he is characterized by hypnotic atmospheres, solid grooves and psychedelic textures, using his sound as a means to propose a journey from introspection to collective connection on the dancefloor through listening and dancing, as he considers music and sounds as a powerful way of liberation and transformation, beyond the recreational. His latest releases have been released on labels such as Xelima Records (Argentina),R3volution Records (Italy), and DRAMA BCN (Spain).

Stephen Disario has placed himself at the forefront of Los Angeles’s techno community with his signature style of moody, driving techno. Whether in the studio or behind the decks his sound is distinct, and his passion rings clear in his music. Stephen has also offered huge contributions to the Los Angeles scene by organizing events under the Cognition brand, which he co-founded in 2017, and through his involvement with H2Audio, a premier LA based sound company. He had his breakthrough year in 2020 with his track "Rave" gaining support from Amelie Lens, Pan Pot, and many others. Stephen continued to break the mold in 2021 with the release of "Pulse" which was constant rotation and found its way into Chris Liebing’s AM/FM podcast. 2023 sparked a new chapter with the launch of Conundrum Records, showcasing Stephen's unique sound as well as bringing on like-minded peers in the scene for releases and label showcases. You can catch Stephen playing at sweaty warehouses small and large as well as notable events like ADE, Boiler Room, CRSSD, and others.
