Simon Taylor is a singer-songwriter from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Simon's music combines elements of rock, pop and Latin with influences ranging from Serge Gainsbourg to Leonard Cohen. Simon has been performing his rock, pop and Latin-influenced songs regularly since 2011 while based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. His upcoming new e.p "Stars" is a collection of mellow folk/ pop / jazz ballads recorded and produced at Chilli Studios in Newcastle upon Tyne by The Baghdaddies’ musical maestro Ziad Jabero and featuring his brother Paul Taylor on keys. The Latin pop track "Bella Señora" is the second single to be released from this e.p.

Talk Like Tigers are a rising evocative indie-pop band from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The duo are twin sisters, Charlotte and Stephanie. Their sound is a dreamy alternative pop in which inventive lyrics paint vivid images, and their velvet vocals weave together to create a visceral other worldliness. Mixing acoustic instruments with synths, their soundscapes are glittered with quirky rhythms and infectious hooks.

After attracting the attention of BBC Music, Talk Like Tigers recorded a live BBC Introducing session, have been played on BBC Radio 1 by Huw Stephens and had their debut single premiere on BBC Radio 6 Music. 

Talk Like Tigers’ live performances pop with vocal harmonies as they switch between synths, guitar, drum pads and vocal effects. Talk Like Tigers have played festivals including Standon Calling 2021, Glastonbury and Lindisfarne Festival, as well as renowned venues such as the O2 Academy Newcastle and Sage Gateshead. They have played live alongside artists such as Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Georgia and have performed a sold out BBC Introducing show at the Sage with Another Sky.

Talk Like Tigers will shortly embark on a support tour performing at venues including Shepherd’s Bush Empire!
