Any artist is welcome to send us a track via freshonthenet.co.uk anytime between Monday lunchtime and Wednesday evening (or when we receive 200 submissions, whichever is sooner) - and all our moderators, including Tom Robinson, will listen to every track. This is our full inbox from the week beginning Mon May 19th 2025: from Friday afternoon you'll be able to hear our shortlist and pick your favourites on this week's Listening Post which will appear at freshonthenet.co.uk/batch570

If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. 

We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud Go tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks (and remixes of tracks) that have been previously submitted, and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Errunhrd - To the surface

This synth soaked track is a straight banger, those silky vocals and persistent drums are amazing.


Exposed Brick - Kafka's Laughter (Extended Version)

This little New wavy track brings a smile to my face every time I listen to it. Great production and vibe.


Zachary Friederich - Politik Tok

Another killer track from the prolific Mr. Friederich. I dig all of his moods but these angry tracks are my favourites for sure.


Peter McDonnell - A President resigns

What a meditative look back, the music Peter uses to accompany the sample is absolutely perfect and builds a mood.


Escape Hatch - Heaven's just a word

At almost 10 minutes I feel like I've spent quite a bit of time with this track now and honestly it could be 10 minutes longer. Such a beautiful and lush song, thank you so much for this.

Grubby - Gelatinous Orbs

Probably the funkiest of the bunch, the sample work is so cool and this track is non stop good times.


Yur Mum - Snakes Don't Fly (Featuring Myura Amara)

Oh man, this song goes hard for sure, that bass is nasty and the tone is just what I needed.

Lili Caseley - contender

Not lying with that voice, this song is definitely a contender. The yelling perfectly juxtaposes with the main vocals. Great tune!


Skeeboo - Beneath the Veil

Strings and drums going for it, love this one. Has a unique feel and was never sure what was coming next.

Marble Stars - Pure O

Those classic drum sounds are killer, paired with the monotone vocals it goes even harder. What a cool song

A President Resigns

One man, DIY created, performed & produced electronica from Liverpool (but now based in Asturias). No template. From early 80s inflected pop to more experimental/filmic pieces. Currently working on music & lyrics for 9-10 tracks that will form a new album to be released in 2024 on CD.
