This is my first recording as part of my plan to take a wide range of new and unheard music into venues around the UK to promote the overlooked talent that surrounds us.

My performances in venues will be accompanied by screens showing information and links to each artist as they are played. Feedback and support will be encouraged. It is my aim to integrate live performances from artists local to where each show takes place, once I am happy with how it is running.

I hadn't planned to make this a regular online affair, but my live shows are slightly held up whilst the perfect website is being conjured from mouse clicks and imagination.

Something of an autumnal feel in this latest instalment of my Eclectic Mix project, and certainly a little darker than the Volume 1 demo. I've made an effort to include artists who didn't feature heavily in the first recording, and I will continue to do that to the best of my abilities whilst maintaining some coherence. It's not perfect, but that makes it all the more human.

To The Surface

A slow, downtempo remix of Glimmer of Hope, blending orchestral textures with chill beats and trip-hop flavor. It feels like moving through fog: you sense something just out of reach, something hidden beneath the surface. It’s calm, but full of emotion; sad, yet comforting. This is where a true journey begins; not with clarity, but with the subtle sense that something is waiting to be uncovered.

A reworking of an old track. Some sounds changed, vocal re-recorded, remastered. Hopefully it's an improvement!

One man, DIY created, performed & produced electronica from Liverpool (but now based in Asturias). No template. From early 80s inflected pop to more experimental/filmic pieces. Currently working on music & lyrics for 9-10 tracks that will form a new album to be released in 2024 on CD.
