For the 38th instalment of the Mosaic Mix Series we turn to UK duo, The Molecule, for a fresh supply of deeply swung minimal house grooves.

Comprising of long standing Mint Club and Zutekh residents Bobby O’Donnell (Mosaic, One Records, E-Numbers) and Quixano, The Molecule, have been locked away in their studio bunker in recent months and the first fruits of their endeavours will hit stores later this year on Bobby's well regarded E-Numbers imprint.

Mosaic Mix Series 038_The Molecule

I was brought up around Motown reggae and soul. , ya Marvin Gayes, John Holt, Commodores and the drifters etc. Thats the tunes my mum and dad used to play. My dad was also a musician and played the Saxophone 🎷. 

Getting older I fell in love with Soul & Funk music. Bands like Kleeer, Mtume, The Gap Band, SOS band etc. Steve Arrington Melba Moore and all the US soul singer songwriters and producers. 

In the early 80’s Hiphop became my love and ICE T was my fav NWA Snoop KRS1 Craig Mack and the likes. 

Late 80’s early 90’s came the house music scene. I was reborn. The rest is history. I love most genre’s of House music. Techno, Tech House, House, Deep House and Afro House. 

I just love music. Its in my soul for sure. xx
