For the next edition of Mosaic's LTDX series, label boss Steve O'Sullivan invites a trio of artists to lay down some seriously infectious beats on 'Rhythm Method Vol.5'.

Kicking off proceedings with '3 Days Cooler,' from Cologne based Hidden Sequence, you'll find yourself instantly locked into the groove. One of those simple yet effective stripped back jams that balances rhythmic effervescence with subtle evolving elements, steeped in that all important dubby twist.

Next,Berlin based Yorkshireman Fletcher steps up with the robotic twinge of 'From Somewhere' - fusing electro styled drum programming with a heavy dose of psychedelics, the sort of thing you'd expect from Romanian minimalist party starters. A powerful rolling and intoxicating brew, this one will find favour among the sound purists. 

Last but not least, trusted Canadian talent Jay Tripwire pairs up with newcomer JayBee with the heady, off-kilter throb of 'Cookie Maschine' - a punchy, incessant ride that just keeps on coming back for more as spatial overtones rise and fall.

This EP, entitled “Silv'ahn”, bears witness to a deep artistic reflection. Inspired by recordings from the Skåne region (Sweden), Martinou sounds a connection with nature, magnifying stone, salt and wood. The result is, of course, Martinou's own unique aesthetic: pared-down, emotional tracks underpinned by a groove charged with magic.

The tracks “Boulder ridge” and “Sanctuary” reflect an immersion in the peaceful landscapes of the Röstånga nature reserve. In contrast, “Passage of the Silv'ahn” adds an epic touch to the EP, with menacing beings moving through the misty woods. Finally, Orion's remix extends the intrigue with hypnotic techno tinged with wonder.

Time flies—what started as a platform to spotlight music we love has reached an incredible milestone: our 500th premiere. Over the years, we've witnessed trends emerge, evolve, and transform into something entirely new. Within these 500 premieres, we've featured a kaleidoscope of styles and genres, but at the heart of it all, the music has always been deep, introspective, and original—an authentic reflection of the artists who create it.
We're thrilled to present Ojalá by Dutch artist Love Over Entropy for this special occasion. Taken from the long-awaited album "To Sit Quietly Where Everything Is Moving Fast," set to be released via Something Happening Somewhere, this track radiates optimism and quiet determination—qualities that feel perfectly encapsulated in its title.
Ojalá unfolds with gentle confidence, its uplifting keys and delicate arpeggiator lines moving together like a conversation that flows without effort. There's an understated elegance here—a lightness that never veers into excess. Each element breathes in unison, giving the track a natural, organic momentum.
The word ojalá, with its roots in hope and possibility, feels like a guiding principle for the music. It's as if Love Over Entropy has captured that sentiment and translated it into sound: a wish carried forward, subtle but powerful.
With this milestone premiere, we're reminded of why we started this platform: to share moments like this, where music connects us not just to each other but to something more profound.

We continue our Podcast Series with a mix hosted by one of the founders of https://soundcloud.com/modum-podcast, https://soundcloud.com/kyle-mckendrick. This Manchester-based DJ is known for his stripped-back sound and he’s projecting this in his Implicit Mind Cast too. As a producer he’s has been making progress, which is reflected in his tracks. For example his newest ‘Easter Blend’, a smooth stripped-back track available on Bandcamp. With Modum, he and his friends were focussing on secret location parties and had support from the biggest names in minimal like Herck, Sepp, Suciu & Nu Zau. Also, they have a Podcast Series, with over 20 podcasts and every single one worth checking!

Kyle takes us on his journey, where he provides us with a smooth collection of tracks including his own work. In this one hour set, he is projecting his deep minimalistic sound, which is warm and full of body. Besides the minimalistic atmosphere, he continuously drops bassline after bassline, which keeps the set in a consistently rolling vibe. Both components are perfectly mixed by the skilled artist. We would say: enjoy it!
