I claim no level of skill of these musicians i'm just trying to get my own down so for starters theres no vocals, i'm not that into my voice yet to put in on a mic. Another thing, i did this a cool way i heard NOFX did some songs: first possible full track that kept a beat all the way though. so it sounds like shit but thats kind of the point. i'm all about learning how it works right now. you'll get the crisp clean awesome stuff some other day. One thing i can tell you i'm proud of in this is that EVERY SOUND is me. drums bass and 2 guitar tracks.

I used to write songs for other artists and thought that getting covers was what it was all about. Whenever I heard the end results of what other artists, producers or A&R people would do with my songs, I mostly found it soul destroying, so I allowed myself to I get distracted developing technology - inventing the Stepp digital guitar and founding several startups in mobile and healthcare.  Then about twelve years ago I started writing again and this time I wrote for myself and rediscovered my passion. So here I am, a songwriter again. 

I record on a MacBook Pro using Logic Pro X, and play a Fender Jazzmaster (my current go-to), American Fender Tele, Taylor acoustic, Epiphone Sheraton II Pro, Fender Jazz Bass, Line 6 Variax JTV, Stepp DG1 (of course!), Nord Piano 5/MIDI keyboard, Gretsch Lap Steel and am learning pedal steel on a Sho-Bud Pro pedal steel guitar. 

The Soundcloud community has fostered my motivation for songwriting and music discovery. Thanks for listening - every comment, constructive or otherwise inspires me.
