It Is Written is an original Three-Piece hardcore/metal band from State College, Pennsylvania. Members include: Ken Hawkins (guitar/vocals), Darl Johnstonbaugh (drums), and Colin McAtee (bass). Formed in 2007, It Is Written has been throwing down on stages across the state for nearly a decade. Recently wrapping up a national tour and playing seventeen dates across fifteen states, they prepare to enter the studio to record their second full length album “In Cold Blood”. Upcoming shows with Trivium, Pro-Pain, and Sevendust highlight the bands spring and summer of 2016, as well as a fifteen date east coast tour which will be kicking off in August.
