Sound installation for the show "The delirious precision of dreams" by Stephen Spera at soAm gallery in Brooklyn. The images were created by compressing hundreds of layers of antique tintypes into new beings, these being transferred to metal, wood, and books. The sound was made in much the same way- some of the source material was culled from old wax cylinder recordings and processed, other sources were created, from field recordings as well as electronic sources,to exist in the space in layers, mirroring the images. In the second part, "spirit radio" I made a 'spirit radio' and used the transmissions as the source materials, coupled with layers of sound from all the parts of the extended piece.
