This is a remix of Basshunter's song, Russian Privjet! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! A few friends requested that I do a remix of it, so I agreed and was stumped for about two days then finally got the idea of what I was going to do. If given decently written feedback on what to fix/change then I'll take it into account and most likely change it!

This is my third version.

For this record I first went out to New York to record with some of the daptone records guys to get the main groove Of the tune. Then I had to travel out to Van Nyus to record a children's choir, which was the most nerve racking thing I have done in my entire life! Having a group of 7-11 year olds sing your song is quite the feeling. I then finished up the song with Mike Avery in Chicago. He was one super soulful dude and really captured the golden era funk vibes that I love so much. Overall, this is a song that is a total funk dance party. Enjoy with friends, preferably in a room full of disco balls :)

After having been listening to disco and early 80's boogie records for the past several months, I was inspired to make a track that was more organic, downtempo, and groovier than my previous single, "All I Do".  In particular, this song was inspired a lot by Bill Withers' "Bout Love" album, whose smooth Wurlitzers and Rhodes kept me groovin'.  See if you can catch the lyrical homages to two beloved french house songs :)

That being said, I hope you enjoy this funky number, and that it makes your days full of kneebouncery.
