We crack like porcelain
The fractures too thin and
I gather my reasons
I loosen my grip

You hold to me tighter
You clinch both your fists but

Expands, I trace the exit

My feet will keep moving

But I catch my relflection
And breath
Feel the ghost of your touch
On my skin

But I turn from the edge of leaving
For the distance could never unmake you

I would leave me behind
