1979-2024 / JUNE 29, 2024 I got my chance to play a Funhouse event with my favorite producer Tommy Musto.  Musto & Bones.  Some remember.  On my side of things my heart bleeds 40 years to have this moment.

I refuse to grow old.  I don't listen to well.  I do things how I like.  40 years ago The Latin Rascals introduced a new style of edits which made people lose their minds.  Here I take the original Fun House joints, pour gasoline over every single one and burn it right down to the foundation.  Your ears about to have some fun.

Fiction Factory Feels Like Heaven (80's New Wave Synth-Pop Industrial Mix 12" Vinyl)

A capa que escolhi para esse Set Mix foi o Mapeamento de um circuito de Rádio Transmissor, com nome de artistas, bandas, fazendo uma evolução no cenário musical alternativo e independente do Rock para uma juventude rebelde, A ética de Bandas da década de 80's & 90's, onde há essa gravura da capa, apontando vários subgêneros musicais, inclusive o  Rock Underground e experimental, incluindo o Pós Punk(Post Punk). O  New Wave é Americano e o Post Punk é Britânico. O Pós Punk tinha Guitarra, Baixo, bateria e vocal,mas também misturava outras técnicas de estilos musicais como: Dub Reggae, Disco, etc,, e podemos dizer, que só surgiu por causa do movimento PUNK, por isso pós punk(Post Punk),  que foi uma fase dessas bandas que apareceram com a ideologia do Punk, e foi uma época de ouro com boas músicas, onde  absorvi, claro nem tudo, até porque tem muitas coisas para mostrar, mas essas eram as principais que conheci, e resolvi mostrar o meu conhecimento, misturando com New Wave.
Eu já vi escutar Pós Punk na década de 80's, apesar de ter surgido na década de 70's. Escutei poucas músicas, porque não tinha muito acesso,  entretanto, o pouco que escutei deu para fazer esse set mesclando com New Wave que irei guardar como recordação dessa época. O Pós Punk apesar de ser Inglês, culminou pelos Estados Unidos e no Brasil.

No Brasil, serviu como referências para o Rock da década de 80's, como por exemplo a Legião Urbana, que teve como referência, The Cure, The Smith, Talking Heads nos Paralamas do Sucesso.
 O New Wave mais pop, e o Post Punk um som mais agressivo. E para mesclar ainda mais, coloquei alguns Alternative Rock e Synthpop, porém, deixando o set mais New Wave e Post Punk. Espero que gostem

80's Gen X New Waver Mobile Disco/Club Spinner in High School & College; Silicon Valley CA Product Engineering Executive/Solid State Drive Geek; Spent most of my allowances on extended, remixes and hard to find esoteric 12" dance vinyl records, used to frequent record stores in SF Bay Area (Amoeba, Rasputins, Tower, Record Factory, Star, etc.) on weekends and after class.  Still love to visit record stores & dig through bins of used records when i go on business trips. Recorded 100's of mixed tapes for classmates/friends and hours & hours in front of the turntables. Count the BPMs, find the intros and breaks and move on the next. Enjoy Generation X underground Club Music. Happy listening! Cheers! 💾🎧📻
