In a short space of time, Portuguese national and Bristol based Marco Strous has notched up an impressive set of achievements. With hefty releases on hot labels such as Solid Grooves RAW, Be One, No Excuse, Blanc and more, Marco’s music is talking loud with a reputation that will be the foundation for many years to come.

With a mastery on the decks, Marco’s drive lies within the groove, living to deliver sets specifically designed to pace the dance floor. 

Marco Strous has worked himself to great heights in the tech house scene. Chris Garvey's fresh musical journey with his solo project as Circadian has seen the producer and DJ showcase his sonic versatility, ingenuity and prowess like never before. Although this new alias only launched in May 2023, Circadian has already released some of the most notable rave anthems of the last year, consistently been supported by the likes of Andy C, Sub Focus, Friction, Dimension, and Netsky, and has even soundtracked some of the planets most popular video games in Fortnite and Rocket League. 

Born in London, UK, Garvey grew up with a love for music and began DJing at the age of 16, quickly developing a passion for drum and bass music before starting to produce his own tracks. After eventually teaming up with Nick White to form The Prototypes in 2010, the groundbreaking duo became synonymous with writing stadium-shattering anthems such as "Pale Blue Dot," "Electric," "Kill The Silence," and “Reason feat Lowes”, enjoying great success in the drum and bass scene. The duo released two studio albums and toured extensively worldwide, performing at major festivals like Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, and EDC Las Vegas.

Now fully focused on his new Circadian project, Garvey says the alias represents "The Ying Yang of Rave Culture". With collaborations with Koven, Dirtyphonics, and Sota, remixes for the legendary Basement Jaxx and Friction, and releases on Monstercat, Elevate Records, and Sleepless Music all under the belt within twelve months of the Circadian project, the seismic nature of this launch pays testament to Garvey's versatility as a producer and his ability to write D&B weapons that resonate with the scene's current and ever-popular sound. 

Delving into previously unexplored territories whilst staying true to the sound and culture that has enamoured him for decades, Circadian continues to highlight exactly why he's become one of the most in-demand names in drum and bass music. Rising up out of Brazil’s hotbed of formidable talent, Mochakk (AKA Pedro Maia) embodies a level of passion and drive that has placed him in a league of his own. His insatiable hunger for knowledge means he has a broad palette to draw from, channelling his deep well of influences into his vibrant creative output. As anyone who has witnessed him in action will attest, Pedro wears his heart on his sleeve, often expressing his honest love for music in an endearingly physical manner. His skills as a selector have led to bookings at globally renowned clubs, including a residency at the iconic DC-10, while his productions encapsulate his diverse sonic identity. A natural born entertainer, who regularly devours music, history and cultural information by the truckload, Mochakk is a unique artist whose energy and enthusiasm are contagious.

Mochakk’s achievements in 2023 alone demonstrate how influential and respected he has become, with his online fanbase growing to over 3.5 million followers across his socials. He sold out a 5,000-capacity show for leading broadcaster Cercle at the Plaza de España in Seville (the set has almost 4 million views), played over 160 shows in 29 countries, and joined the family at DC-10 as a resident. On that note, Mochakk also released the huge single ‘Jealous’ with Circoloco Records, alongside his killer remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself’. 2023 also saw the launch of his Tricks And Tracks event series, merging his love of skateboarding with electronic music for a unique party. Elsewhere, his Mochakk Calling events have sold out at every worldwide location so far. At the end of 2023 he was named by both Amazon Music and Spotify Mint as Artist to Watch in 2024, wrapping up a hugely successful 2023 with the promise of an even bigger year ahead...
