Le Lab meets Tawam - Zion Steppin - Culture Dub Records CDRNET043

Après la sortie de deux titres qui ont rencontré un franc succès auprès du public, le Lab, Tawam et le label Culture Dub Records s'associent de nouveau pour proposer 'Zion Steppin'​. Un morceau avec ​un son live qui montre toute la passion des activistes pour le Reggae des origines, suivi de deux versions Dub dans la pure tradition du style, le tout masterisé par Joss.B et en Libre téléchargement, bien évidemment !

Le Lab, c’est le terrain d’expérimentation de deux jeunes producteurs​: Pierre et Roméo​. Le duo est passionné de Dub et de musiques électroniques. Après plusieurs années de prototypes, crash tests et d’expériences à l’issue incertaine, un premier album, « Sound Chemistry », voit le jour sur le label Marée Bass. Le duo produit ensuite deux titres originaux sur le label Culture Dub Records en compagnie de Tawam, ​et cette  release​a été acclamée par le public... Le Lab est de retour sur ce même label, toujours en compagnie de Tawam, pour un titre chanté suivi de deux versions Dub, dans la pure tradition du style !

Tawam est un jeune chanteur et multi-instrumentiste. ​Il a collaboré avec des producteurs issus du milieu Dub lors de sa précédente release en compagnie du Lab sur le label Culture Dub Records​phrase a revoir avec d'autres infos. Les idées de Tawam ont été mises en musique au studio du Lab pour créer le titre ‘Zion Steppin’, où il propose une performance vocale inspirée des trios vocaux jamaïcains, tout en jouant divers instruments sur le riddim tels la basse, la guitare et les skanks, qui lui confèrent cette chaleur incontestable !

Le Lab and Tawam released recently two hit tunes and they didn’t want to stop there… They join forces with Culture Dub Records to express themselves in ‘Zion Steppin’. This tune has a live sound showing all their passion for the beginning of Reggae music, then two traditional Dub versions. Joss.B mastered the released and it is for free download, of course! 

Le Lab is the experimentation ground of two young producers: Pierre and Roméo. They are both Dub and electronic music lovers. After several years of prototypes, crash tests and experiments with uncertain outcomes, a first album, “Sound Chemistry”, was released on Marée Bass Records. The duo then produced two original titles on Culture Dub Records with Tawam. This release was greatly acclaimed by the public... Le Lab is back on the same label, still with Tawam, for a singing title followed by two Dub in Extended versions.  

Tawam is a young multi-instrumentalist singer, who collaborates with producers from the Dub scene. Tawam's ideas were put together at Le Lab studio to create the track 'Zion Steppin', in which he offered a vocal performance inspired by Jamaican vocal trios while playing different instruments such as bass, guitar and skanks. What a warm riddim!
