Hola, esta es mi nueva bio. Estuve mucho tiempo con una que hice hace 5 años. En ella hablaba de mi proceso haciendo 'Marchita', mi primer álbum que en realidad es el segundo si contamos 'Lo Sagrado' con Charlie Hunter. 

Ahora mientras escribo estoy a unos meses de sacar mi nuevo disco. En estos 5 años han pasado tantas cosas que no caben en ningún lugar preciso. Cosas increíbles y cosas terribles. La vida es así, te da y te quita, pero de alguna manera se te va llenando el corazón pase lo que pase. Ahora mismo tengo 5 canas blancas (una por año desde la última vez) y el pelo muy largo. Planeo dejármelo largo por otros 5 años más, a ver qué pasa. Pasé tres años produciendo, componiendo y girando. 

Puedo decir que he sido libre y que la libertad me asusta bastante. No siempre estuve a la altura, probablemente nunca lo estaré, pero igual lo intento. Me despierto y trato de atinar a responder — “¿qué quiero hacer hoy?” — por suerte la respuesta casi siempre es “hacer canciones”. Así que continúo buscando todos los días algo que a veces encuentro y a veces no. Es divertido y por momentos es conmovedor. 

Hoy me siento feliz de que finalmente voy a comenzar a compartir estas canciones. La primera se llama “Como Un Pájaro” sale el 28 de Mayo  y la  que le sigue será “Lila Alelí”. Pronto hago una nueva bio contándoles un poquito más.

As of today, Hue is comprised of lead singer/songwriter Danny Paton Jr, guitarist Darcy Finck, bassist Andrew Jones, and Andy Schmidt on drums. The sound of Hue circles around an array of genres, ranging from rock, to folk, to melodic pop. However, the group remains thoughtful when sonically crafting each song, keeping vocals, harmonies, soft synth lines, a strong rhythmic presence and complimentary guitar work at the forefront of the writing process. These elements merge in harmony to create a sound that is distinct to Hue.

Hues live show always proves to be an exciting one for crowds of any size in nearly any venue. The band combines exuberant energy with unique live tactics that excite and involve fans of any musical taste. Over their career, the band has supported acts such as We Are Wolves, The Wooden Sky, Two Hours Traffic, Lights, Said The Whale, Hollerado, The Spades, Paper Lions, Library Voices, Hey Ocean, and numerous others.

Aside from their love for each other and their listeners, Hue truly have a passion for music and will continue to write and perform well into the future. 

The lone elephant, who usually is accompanied by the traveling herd, has decided to wonder on their own path. Feelings of confusion, loss and the unknown fill the mind of the animal, yet these are Good Fears.

These themes occur throughout the record on such songs as Boats, One With the Night and Wandering. However, the beast soon realizes this world is something to be discovered and that being afraid of the unknown can lead to wonderful experiences of love, loss and friendship as heard in the lyrics of Match Made, Century and Trumpeteer. 

Walking down any new path can be fraught with worry, but these fears can lead to incredible life experiences.
