O Astronauta Marinho, formado em meados de 2011, é um encontro de amigos, onde compor e executar músicas de caráter essencialmente instrumental tem sido o fio condutor de seu trabalho. Partindo de suas próprias experiências cotidianas, as composições são tecidas com os resíduos das vivências de cada um dos integrantes. A influência da cidade de Fortaleza e suas cores, das suas ruas e seus sons, dos quartos de apartamento, das pequenas descobertas dominicais, dos bares baratos e dos moribundos da noite, permeiam a produção da banda e dialogam com o conjunto produzido. O direcionamento do grupo para a vertente de música instrumental não é restringente, entretanto. Há aberturas para canções, para recortes e interfaces verbais. Mas o trabalho do Astronauta Marinho é, sobretudo, uma aposta na abertura da colaboração criativa entre o artista e o público, depositando neste a possibilidade de assumir a sua própria significação, de modo abrangente, das músicas e do trabalho do grupo.

Astronauta Marinho is an instrumental/indie band formed in 2011 in Brazil. Since  then composing and performing music essentially instrumental have been the guiding principle of their work. Based on their own surroundings and personal experiences, the band has found their own way to carefully illustrate their perspective of daily life. Influenced by the city of Fortaleza and its colors, its streets and its sounds, the apartment rooms and the bohemian night permeate the production of the band dialoguing with the set produced. 
However, the focus of the group for the present instrumental music is not always stringent. There are openings for experimental songs, electronic bases and clippings to verbal interfaces. The work of Astronauta Marinho is mainly a bet on opening the creative collaboration between artist and audience, and enable the ability to take their own meaning, comprehensively, of the songs and the group's work.

With three albums released by the label System Recordings (Usa) - Harmony, and Three and a Half Breed.Some compilations featuring great artists and also releasing some material on Chocolat Soul Records (Spa) the project keeps spreading the music.&#13;
Some of the recent accomplishments includes the Mercedes Benz compilation and American Airlines and Aeromexico, redbull tv, canal off (globo), sound stations featuring five Wom tracks.Wide open mind also released tracks for grooveland music, putz records, and pragatecno. A citation by the Brazilian version of Rolling Stone magazine as the song in the month of August 2009.&#13;
