Sonic storytelling from Glasgow's ambient power duo Somewhere Press. The mix is, according to Caapi and Lizzie Urquhart, a musing on the Divine Feminine, which got me thinking about something James Hillman, archon of all things archetypal, said about the study of Beauty. Apparently (so says James) the ancient root of the word "Aesthetics" comes close to meaning "I breathe in" and the mixes, releases and vibe of Somewhere Press has certainly breathed something beautiful into Glasgow's musical landscape.
