D.Fine is from Bordeaux in southern France and he is part of a new breed of French producers that doesn’t seem too concerned with the classic sounding French house scene from the 90’s but instead takes cues and inspirations from other parts of the world such as the UK dance music scene and Detroit techno.

We at Discobelle Records are proud to present his EP ”Fall”.

The EP kicks off with the title track in which an infectious vocal sample rides a playful headbobbing 808 beat interspersed with subtle hi-hats and handclaps. 

The second track ”I Don’t” swerves towards a bit of darker ride, the beat is crunchier while the diamondsharp and spaced out synths glimmer well into the night.

The final track ”Silly Eyes” gives us more of a classic sounding, housier affair in which an urging female vocal sample amidst a steadfast beat and a deep bass takes us towards the dancefloor.

Undeniably, The Madrid's Underground sound is driven by the duo formed between the  greats Oscar de Rivera and Ismael Rivas. Each one has an incredible and brilliant career, and as it has become a common situation recently they join together not only in most emblematic party in the Spanish Capital, every Sunday evening at People, also in the studio they have a synergy and a capacity that makes them create such us big stuff as that we'll show you in this stunning EP. 100% effective at the clubs. De Rivera & Rivas are experts at blending tribal percussion, techno hi-hats and infectious bass lines - a combo that always results in jam-packed dance floors. Their Madrid Underground EP is another fine example of their impeccable ear and shining talent in the production realm. This is essential stuff for all purveyors of Tech House music and all Clubber by the way.

Having become a member of the Moon Harbour agency and label family recently, Germany's mysterious Sable Sheep is back with a new four track EP that continues to explore his trademark tribal tinged tech house sound with great panache.  Sable Sheep is no stranger to success given the widespread deployment of his previous tracks like 'Painting My Fur', and that's a good job, because all of his latest missives are sure-fire dancefloor dynamite.

Upon Burning Skies is the opening track, and one that builds and builds in tension to an invisible peak that will have ravers on the edge of their feet as the tribal male chanting acts like a call to action above bouncing, buoyant kick drums and slick percussive details.  A dub version is also included in the package.

Torn To Pieces is another full-blooded groove that will lock you in from the very first rubbery kick and silvery hi hat ringlet. As they roll on next to each other without any friction at all, a knotted bassline and deft little synth stabs add some detail as a warm wind seems to howl in the background. Its stripped back but fills the airwaves and is the sort of physical track its impossible not to get carried away by.

Finally, Thy Suffer is another warm concoction of sound that Sable Sheep fills with rattling drum hits and sandy shakers. Some twitching alien sounds suggest the presence of life amongst the machines and the deep looping kicks help draw you in.

An EP produced with great precision restraint, Sable Sheep knows just how much to add into the without over doing things or allowing things to get stuck in a rut -- it's a perfect balancing act that is designed for maximum impact on the dancefloor.
