Co is pleased to bring you its first full EP release from London based producer Geo Taguchi. The EP features 2 original tracks with 2 remixes of “Coconut Mall” from well-established producers Tech Support & Gimbrere. Geo Taguchi is a Tokyo-born, London-based artist inspired by past visions of the future; his productions on this first EP echo the synth-heavy Italo disco of the 80s with their interplanetary and space-inspired earworms. A classically trained guitarist and pianist, his formative years were spent listening to the classic pop and disco loved by his mum, and as with Geo Taguchi, those rhythmic, percussive, and poppy characteristics combine with a love for all things machine: synth-laden and robotic dance-tracks housed in pop structures. Define Dancing - Sampling Neil Armstrong, the a-side is an ode to exploration and escapism. Produced at the height of lockdown, Define Dancing's darting bassline and space-inspired synths transport you to another time and planet.

Brazil’s Bruno Furlan returns to Hot Creations with his fresh two-track EP, ‘Bongoloco’.  

A DJ and producer whose recent studio endeavours have seen him release material on Black Book Records,  Fool’s Gold and Material, Bruno Furlan is an artist at the centre of Brazil’s recent explosion of names within the  house and tech house landscape. Based in São Paulo, the bubbling talent has built on his early experiences within  the Brazilian electronic music scene to make appearances at global events such as Dirtybird Campout and AMF  Festival. Following an impressive debut on the label with his two-track ‘The Speakers Pump Like This’, late  January brings a return to Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations imprint as he serves up two fresh dancefloor-leaning cuts  across his ‘Bongoloco’ EP.  

“After the first release on Hot Creations, ideas started to boil in my head daily, and I wondered if Jamie  would play every song I started or not. When I started ‘Bongoloco’, it was a very raw groove, and I needed  something striking, a mix between a little crazy and something that made sense in the music. I thought  about adding some percussion, but nothing was good until I came across this bongo and fell in love with  the sound of it on the track. It’s impressive how achievements improve our ideas and performances, and  my Hot Creations debut was one of those. I have no doubt ‘Bongoloco’ only exists thanks to Jamie’s first  ‘Yes’” - Bruno Furlan. 

Title track ‘Bongoloco’ takes cues from its name and showcases a skittering percussion-driven production built for  peak-time hours as warped drum fills and vibrant vocal calls inject an abundance of energy. Keeping things  moving, the rolling ‘Vai’ delivers a slick accompaniment to the package, serving up an anthem built for bustling  terraces worldwide.

Meyer's first release on his own label ETERNAL Records called "Shattered". This collaborative effort is a great example of what it means to bring melodic techno music to the next level. It weaves a smooth and immersive soundscape that forges a deep connection with the listeners. In addition to the excellent extended mix of the song the remixes also bring something quite special to the table. The reworked versions by Cosmic Boys and Hevi Levi add a unique twist to the original track, offering a fresh perspective on the central themes of the song.

2017 will be an amazing year for music, if this stunning musical creation from renowned electronic artist Stan Kolev, in collaboration with vocalist Sula Mae, on Outta Limits Recordings, the label he co-runs and manages with his partner producer and friend Matan Caspi, is anything to go by.

Stan Kolev is undoubtedly one of the most skilful electronic music producers to rise to prominence on the global stage over the past 20 years. His trademark sound, featuring haunting melodies and the hypnotizing use of vocals, has earned this Bulgarian-born, Miami-based DJ/Producer, a place as one of the most respected and in-demand producers. His music always shines with a unique formula, blending sophistication with his own distinctive originality.

‘Fill Me Up’ is a master-class in how to create subtle, yet intricately stunning, melody rich, uplifting house music. Layer upon layer of perfectly chosen musical parts, twist and turn, ebb and flow, in an ever-evolving track that demands many listens to fully appreciate the sheer quality and technical ability on display here. This is the mark of a producer of the highest order at the top of his game, creating supremely skilful arrangement that perfectly compliments the totally enthralling, seductive voice of Sula Mae. This is, quite simply, heavenly house music of the highest order.
As one of electronic music's most creative talents, Stan has also supplied an exceptional and incredibly emotive instrumental version of ‘Fill Me Up’ that possesses the same joyous musicality and the spacious structure shows his diverse sonic palette in its full glory and is an equally poignant version, to complete the package perfectly.

Sula Mae is a British singer / songwriter from South London, who draws influences from the Bristol scene (Portishead, Massive Attack and Tricky) and the jazz greats (Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin), and who has previously collaborated with Stan Kolev on a track titled ‘High’ that achieved huge success a year ago on Outta Limits. The studio synergy between these two is so strong again this time round that ‘Fill Me Up’ can be considered their most accomplished creation to date.
