Amateur guitarist, now trying to learn some jazz and blues.

Themis Nikoloudis was born in Athens. Since 1998 he has been collaborating with many distinguished musicians and composers (Michalis Nikoloudis, Audric Jankauskas, Haig Yazdjian, Babis Tyropoulos, Vasilis Rakopoulos, Giorgos Maglaras, Nikos Sidirokastritis, Giorgos Palamiotis, Nikos Kapilidis, Vaggelis Karipis, and others) playing the violin in concerts and several recordings.
At the same time, he has been performing as a violin member in many music bands with Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Dimitra Galani, and Lavrentis Macheritsas, playing in concerts all over Greece and Abroad.
He began his journey in music by studying modern guitar. Later he turned to violin studies and after years of elaborating on violin technique, he got his autonomy and continued elaborating his study independently in music theory, ear training, and solfeggio also he kept learning by playing next to great and very experienced musicians.
Jazz music will always be his vehicle for improvisation.
He maintains the melodic and lyrical essence in his tone and stirs it with some rhythmical elements inspired by the Indian konnakol. A system that allows the composition, performance, and communication of rhythms. He twists it with some chopping (a new percussive technique specific to bowed string instruments that allow the violin sound to resemble rhythm guitar and electric bass with the slap techniques.)
For the last five years, he is most committed to his compositions and musical
arrangements projects, studio session work, and teaching the violin.
He is a member of the Frog String Quartet.
