The sonic brotherhood of Erol Alkan and Richard Norris. Strange things are still happening.

Founded in 2018, Curated Doom is a small independent record label with a focus on abstract, experimental and ambient music. Artists include Ghost of Wood, Darkroom, Michael Bearpark, Fishclaw, Gömböc, Elif Yalvaç and Ian Fleming.

I'm just another fretless bass player, but shorter.

The rough mix and demo tracks here are to appear on my forthcoming solo album, "Stormy, Rain, Change, Fair..." which I hope to release soon. I've written the music and played the instruments.  I have used and occasionally adapted the poetry of my life partner Vienna Forrester. She has a knack of creating strong visuals in her poems and I wanted to showcase her talents and fulfil my need to release my musical work to the general public, hence the reason for this album. I am deliberately trying to stay away from the notion that songs must follow a rhyming verse chorus pattern so think of these lyrics as poetry (which is what they are) and you'll get the idea. Of course, this also means that commercialism is out the window but all I ask is that you listen and if you like what you hear, that's fine by me... if you don't, that's also fine. I just want to be happy with what I create but if it makes you happy too, then that's a bonus.

Party band playing punchy pop and rock from the 60s to current day. Not the usual jukebox / radio 2 selection. Songs by Blondie, Elvis Costello, The Who, The Stereophonics, The Coral... diverse and dancey.

Just an old muso who's been playing in bands since the '60s. Previously been with amongst others Hawkwind, Magic Muscle, Hawklords and now a long serving member of The Bevis Frond.

Once played various instruments but retired in 1993 due to an injury originally sustained in 1990.

In 2013 after a 20 year hiatus she was beginning to feel better able to pick up an interest in creating music once more.

She currently spends most of her time practising her technique to get rid of her rustiness, she is currently building up a collection of rough demos that she will eventually re-record when she feels she has a more polished sound.

Some of these demo's are recorded with various friends with some being solo projects.
