The music of Melbourne based Run Rabbit Run is best described as Progressive Folk Rock. Their sound sways between sombre folk, raucous fast-paced country, and often leans into the realm of atmospheric and climactic prog-rock. Citing artists such as Noah & The Whale, Hey Rosetta!, and Fleet Foxes as influences; Run Rabbit Run formed out of a passion for the honesty that folk music breathes. Their name is derived from lyrics in the opening track of Pink Floyd’s iconic Dark Side of the Moon.
