For our next digital offering we have talented up and comer Sam Alfred, who drops 5 tracks of absolute fire for his debut EP, Strictly Business. Ranging from peak time weapons, dubbed out percussive breaks, heavily swung grooves, dusty Rhodes and a vocal mix thrown in for good measure, this is club-ready music for any dance-floor.

Taking influence from the likes of Chris Stussy, DJ Steaw and Cinthie, Sam has worn his heart on his sleeve all the while managing to carve out his own unique style and has shown us a musical prowess of someone far beyond his years. Sam's Strictly Business EP will undoubtably mark him at the top of Melbourne’s one-to-watch list.

On the A-side is ‘Hey Boy’ by Italian producer/DJ Giuseppe Fimiani aka BPlan, a dirty lowdown that perfectly completes the vibe of the A-side. BPlan’s skills in bringing a unique take to a familiar riff is nothing short of genius. The perfectly pitched bass, filtered chord progression and mid-tempo beat lead us on a journey drenched in summer juices which, when combined with the vocal samples force you to stay in the moment and stop runnin’ with those Joneses. Next up on RNT Reserve is Felipe Gordon, based in Colombia’s capital Bogotaì, Felipe is a renaissance man. The producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and label head is nothing short of a phenomenon, effortlessly fusing complex sound combinations from jazz samples to flowing pianos and acid bass lines into hugely exciting and unique house cuts.  It’s a sound which comes together perfectly to create tracks which have been moving waves worldwide over the last couple of years. Felipe has released a string of well regarded tracks and worked on remixes for Shall Not Fade, Toy Tonics, Heist Recordings, Razor-N-Tape and his own Noìmada Records.

Habibi Grooves lands on Lisztomania Records with the awesome Imaginary Friends, along with remixes from three other big hitters.
The original mix sets the scene with a gorgeous, laid back trip-hop vibe, stuffed full of luscious strings, emotive piano riffs and moogy bass that keeps your head nodding throughout.
Up first on remix duties is Onur Ozman with his trademark style of technically infused deep house. A minimal yet flamboyant beat underscores this airy remix, which is bursting with lush pads, filter sweeping synth lines and sparkling strings. Add a funky moog-esque bassline and you’ve got the perfect follow up to the original.
Remix number two sees Chocky Strings Attached bringing a smouldering offering to the release, with swelling string sections, a relentless beat and a brooding bassline, this one is for the afterhours crew!
Finally, we have Guri with a super funky yet undeniably deep remix. Laced with electric piano, strings, 303 and a slick bassline, Guri offers up some pure dance floor material. The perfect end to an awesome release.
