Since the 90s, the charismatic Swiss DJ & Producer Steve Cole has been honing his performance & production talent to become a serious force in the underground techno & minimal scene, performing his trademark electric minimal & techno-charged live shows at some of the finest underground clubs & festivals across Europe including Sonar in Barcelona, Sea You Festival and Grenzenlos Festival in Germany, Nordstern & Hive Club in Switzerland, and countless more shows across Berlin, UK, Italy, Paris, Dominion Republic & Holland.

On the production side, Steve has released his music and co-productions on vinyl and digital format with some of the finest international artists including @RonaldChristoph, @Andreas-Henneberg, @David-Keno, @DJHellOfficial, @GabrielLeMar, & more on world-class record labels including his imprint @Schallbox-Records, @PuzzleProjectsMusic @Neopren-Records, @MyFavouriteFreaks, Keno Records, Natural Rhythm, @Dekadent-Schallplatten.

2021 & 2022 sees Steve enter the next exciting stage of his professional music career, continuing further studio collaborations with producers, beginning to perform shows again post-covid, and releasing debut tracks on vinyl and digital on rapidly rising record labels @PuzzleProjectsMusic and @HOT-GROOVERS – including a highly anticipated re-release of ‘Edbeermund’ with some excellent remixes.

Unfortunately it took a bit of time to present here our third release, but luckily enough we are happy to show you now "We are Groove Cirqus EP". The duo from Italy brings three great tunes with enormous, nice rhythms on drums and percussion. "Semiprofessional musician" a smooth and deep track peppered with vocal shots, starts the EP followed by "U Better Hear" and "Think It Over". We needed a special, great remix, so we get Schallbox's owner Steve Cole who spend a phat and tight one, flavored with some synth sequences. We are sure these tracks will retune every mind and transform every dance floor to a particular place.

Client Liaison - End Of The Earth (Dreems 'Symphony For An Apocalypse' Remix)

Championed by the likes of Seth Troxler, Guy Gerber and Tiga, the former Footprintz member turned solo star has set his musical sights on the incense-filled Multi Culti chill-out room.

Following recent releases on Visionquest, Supplement Facts, Life & Death, and Turbo, Clarian continues a run of musically diverse, emotionally resonant songs with this three track EP. Ma Shiva stands out immediately in every way: it’s a mid-tempo pop ballad that takes as its refrain one of the most popular Hindu mantras. It’s a total one-off that has a certain familiarity to it without actually sounding quite like anything specific… except, oddly enough, maybe a dash of 80s-era Leonard Cohen in the phrasing of the verses. Open Your Eyes takes the tempo down even lower, into laid-back Talking Heads territory. Taking on such a wide range is an impressive feat, a show of great confidence from the young Montreal-based producer. It’s no wonder he’s been courted by some of the biggest names in the house scene as both a writer and producer. Rounding off these two languid anthems is Dystopia, a dragon-stick-juggling bazaar-ride of inner-exoticism. Progressive - even for progressive!

In remix support are the always-awesome Invisible Conga People, long overdue to release more original music. For the time being we’ll have to content ourselves with this epic, meandering acid dub rework of the title track.

Marc Miroir teams up with Elif Biçer on PASOmusic. What a perfect combination!
Elif is well-known through her collaborations with several Ostgut Ton artists. Her voice is outstanding and you can hear her passion for music in every single syllable. 
Marc Miroir has just celebrated the anniversary of 10 years PASOmusic in September 2014 and 'Let me go' now is another milestone in the label's history. 'Let me go' combines Marc´s sure hand for highly unique yet functional club music with Elif´s astounding voice. 
'Let me go' comes in two versions and you can be sure that it will burn down every dance floor around the world.
The songs are co-produced by Evamore´s Ronald Christoph.

This Text by François Villon still sounds more like a wild roistering night than an emotional ballad. Interpreted once by Klaus Kinski, these words are now resuscitated on Steve Cole’s and Ronald Christoph’s new EP "Erdbeermund" (strawberry lips). Remix duties by Kotelett & Zadak and Smalltown Collective are giving the EP its summertime finish and resonate deeply right up until the last afterhour!

Israel’s hottest export follow up excellent EPs on Hivern and I’m A Cliché with a 3-tracker for the global psychedelic cult of Multi Culti.

Tel Aviv’s Red Axes are one of the most exciting new acts in dance music, with rich sound that is musical, deep, trippy and organic, while remaining precise and lethally effective in the club. The range in their sound is impressive, their talent unmistakeable. They are one of our favourite artists of the year, and this latest record is one of their best yet.

Lead track 'Waiting for a Surprise’ builds around a mid-tempo disco bassline, with tough percussion, and rugged synth stabs, but it’s the eerie and unique sounding vocals of Brazilian collaborator Abrao that bring everything together. This one is a guaranteed bomb for building up, tearing down, peak time or chilling out… an outstanding track in every sense, the kind that force trainspotters to the DJ booth to discover what’s playing. Next up, ‘Hope’ kicks off with resonant, delayed toms, adding a haunting howl and synths before dropping into a wild, clanging, carnivalesque frenzy. It’s understated, but advanced, with an interesting arrangement that really opens up in the second half. Finally, 'The Metal Bender’ slows the tempo but ups the vibe into an elated, slow-burning space-disco anthem. Fantastic stuff!

Melbourne’s Kris Baha, fresh from launching his Power Station imprint, offers a stripped down remix of ‘Waiting for a Surprise,’ with a heavy, industrial-influenced groove that wanders into the deep, dark end of party strasse.

A remix pack is nothing more than the universe experiencing its own dance music subjectively. With this in mind, we took Ecuadorian sound-seer Nicola Cruz’s latest audiovisions and refracted them through the minds of some of the world’s hottest young cultural interpreters. To provide you with the best possible approximation of what the results feel like, we then sent an intern to loiter outside a local Heart-Opening Ceremony to get people’s unfiltered reactions just moments after they awakened to their new place in the universal order.

This time the renowned Berlin-based musician and producer teams up with @Steve-Cole to deadly effect. The producers each bring years of deep knowledge and experience to their studio exploits: Ronald a stalwart of the Berlin scene and Steve a long-serving member of the techno beat community in his native Switzerland. 

‘Fade News’ (PPM0030) lures us into a long dark tunnel. As the murky bassline throbs and pulsates, we encounter increasingly rousing energy, Cole and Christoph adding layers of percussion and tweaking the arrangement to up the ante. Intermittent rave stabs rise in prominence, taking centre stage and providing a razor-sharp juxtaposition to the bulbous low end. 

On the flip, 'Shadows' (PPM0031) keeps it on the darkside - this time with a potent, oscillating b-line that will send shockwaves through the dance floor. Here, Cole and Christoph dial up the intensity with precision, peppering the track with vocal stabs, and a menagerie of layers and effects to cultivate depth and feeling. The atmosphere is mysterious and seductive, keeping you dancing right until the end.
