A bit more about this weeks guest:
It was 16 years ago after finding a mixer in a flea market that the Oldchap adventure begins. He Juggled between trip hop and underground techno music and then, more than a thousand vinyls and cells later, it is now his tracks that are available to buy in the wax.
Already available a vinyl only track on Smokecloud records alongside Osmose and Funk District, and in the coming weeks a track on the next Masterworks compilation with the boss Dr Packer Hotmood and the Funk District again. On the Digital side there are two upcoming EP's; one on Sundries and the other at Masterworks.
In a spirit more house, two tracks will also be coming in collaboration with NicolA one on Sundries and one for QCK records.

Oldchap will always deliver these eclectic and energetic sets that have delighted the dancers and these could be heard this summer at Les Badauds bar in Versailles or at private parties.

A constant synergy exists between Jayda G and the dancefloors she commands. This is my Spin City Showthat aired live at 7pm 09.12.2018 on myhouseradio.fm. This week I shared the show with my friend, Norweigan based Carl Christian Welhaven aka Beatwell. It was a pleasure to share a show with Carl.

Beatwell is Dj who is based in Oslo, Norway. He holds a prestigious residency at Hakkasan Ling Ling, as well as playing regular gigs and private parties in his home town. His goal as a DJ is to always create the ultimate atmosphere, not just dropping bangers, taking the crowd on a journey into the rhythms of contemporary electronica, groovy disco & quality house music. He has been incredibly inspired by music from the last century including Old School Hip-Hop, Classic 80’s Disco, & the birth of Electronica. These have all made a lasting impression on him.
