Here it is.... the 3rd chapter of #HeavenTrap Music!!!! This moment.... marks a great step forward for our community. This song came to be in a very inspiring way. About a month ago we went on Soundcloud and searched the tag "Heaven Trap".... to our surprise we saw tons of you guys are making it!! It was truly amazing to see, and we can't thank you guys enough for supporting our sound. One of these tracks was made by Party Thieves, and it stood out strongly amongst the rest. That moment we hit him up for stems because we wanted to edit his track for our live show.... he replied and sent over the pieces. As we were working we realized he had pitched up the entire track up for his version and it wasn't exactly what we had in mind to play out. We then wrote him back to let him know that we wouldn't be able to use any of his stems for our version, but that we would still add him as a collaborator on the track. We really want to support artists making this sound.... so we felt this would be a great way to boost up a very talented up-n-comer. A Brief History of Flux (DJ Mix)

"Projections is an ongoing DJ mix series dedicated to showcasing Discovery Project alumni who continue to push boundaries with their music.

The members of Twofold may share the same first name, but the two Adams come from worlds apart. Hailing from the UK and California respectively, Adam Crewes-Meyer and Adam McKinney didn’t let distance or time differences become obstacles in their combined musical journey. After collaborating under various aliases, their shared appetite for producing different genres brought the pair together permanently as Twofold. They released their debut EP, The Prelude, on Datsik’s Firepower Records, taking the top spot on the Beatport Top 100 Dubstep chart. Up next for Twofold is their forthcoming single, “Taken Back” with Leah Culver, along with a string of shows this summer in San Francisco and Colorado.

Being part of Insomniac’s Discovery Project has been a huge inspiration and driving force for us. The concept behind the project is fantastic, as it provides a platform and incentive for emerging artists. It’s a credit to Insomniac and the Discovery Project team, and we feel very fortunate to be a part of it. We’ve always been huge fans of multiple sides of the dance music spectrum, and we feel this mix really highlights that. We’ve always been open to every subgenre and hope to continue experimenting in the future."

Hey guys! Hope you guys enjoy JVNA Live 002 :) I call this mix "Dimensions" because when you listen to it I'm taking you to different dimensions cuz its all pretty in the beginning and then towards the end we get FUUUCKING LITTT WITH DUBSTEP AND DARK SHIET STARTS TO HAPPEN and then we go back to the happy place again. You can interpret that however you want. :D But basically it's a mix about contrasting perspectives and we can apply that to anything we experience, see, or feel.

on a side note:  I think the audio quality is better now because I switched out my cables connecting from my DJ gear to the mixer. I know there are a lot of repeat songs from the Light Mix, but I wanted to showcase some of that music to my new JVNA Live series on Youtube as well :)
