Kris Dur – Biography:

Christian Durán, better known as Kris Dur, is a DJ and music producer from Mexico City, passionate about music from an early age—especially electronic sounds. With over 20 years of experience behind the decks, he has explored a wide range of genres, ultimately establishing his artistic identity within the world of Progressive House.

Throughout his career, he has performed at some of the most iconic venues in Mexico, including Danzoo, Rioma, Hookah Lounge Condesa, Alphabet, Xaman Bar, Bara Bara (Puerto Morelos), On Heaven, La Oldschool (Playa del Carmen), and Zamanik (Tulum), among others.

On the discography front, Kris Dur has released music on some of the most respected international labels, such as The Soundgarden, Mango Alley, Univack, Freegrant Music, Manual Music, Movement Recordings, Sound Avenue, and Deepwibe Digital.

He is currently focused on producing new tracks and refining a personal sonic aesthetic—rich in textures, emotion, and depth. His productions have received support from major international figures such as Hernán Cattáneo, Nick Warren, John Digweed, Solomun, &ME, Black Coffee, Kevin Di Serna, Kamilo Sanclemente, Paul Deep, and Nicolas Rada, as part of a growing network of global tastemakers.

Kris Dur continues to forge an authentic path within Progressive House, blending musical sensitivity with a solid and contemporary artistic vision.

Christian Durán a.k.a. Kris Dur, Mexican DJ and producer, born in Mexico City, has always been passionate about music, but mainly being a fan of electronic sounds. With more than 15 years of experience as a DJ, he has gradually experimented and mastered a wide range of musical styles and genres, finally choosing the Progressive House sound as his personal hallmark which distinguishes him. 

Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to play in different venues such as: Danzoo (CDMX), Rioma (CDMX), Hookah Lounge Condesa (CDMX), Alphabet (CDMX), Bara Bara (Puerto Morelos), On Heaven (Playa del Carmen), La Oldschool (Playa del Carmen), Zamnik (Tulum), among others.

He has releases in different labels around the world such as: The Soundgarden, Freegrant Music, Manual Music, Sound Avenue, Deepwibe, 3rd Avenue, Massive Harmony, AH Digital, One of a Kind, to name a few. He is currently working on the production of new tracks, as well as the creation of sounds that will become the basis of his own style in production.

His productions have the support of great international artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Kevin Di Serna, Paul Deep, Nicolas Rada, Marcelo Vasammi to name a few.
