In November 2024, shortly after the U.S. presidential election, the two of us went to Chicago's Narwhal Studios to record spontaneous music with our longtime friend and recording engineer, Brian Deck. Over two days—November 15 and 16—we captured our immediate reactions to current events through spontaneous, improvised musical conversations. The recording of the Dalai Lama singing this ancient mantra "Maha Mrityunjaya" of the Rig Veda was taken with the permission of the Dalai Lama to one of his students. At first he refused, but then he agreed, but said the mantra should never be sold, but must be passed in vain. If you would like to share this with others, please continue to include this note.
