Such interesting metallic sounds: all those vehicles whizzing by…..

Total chill zone, like cruising the edge of some virtual cityscape where nothing rushes but everything moves. There’s a metallic shimmer to it that feels both grounded and futuristic, like TRON took a yoga class. 😎 The 432Hz tuning definitely gives it that warm, easy on the mind hum. Perfect for letting the day exhale. 💨 The kettle hissed and sighed, “This is what I imagine dreams sound like when machines sleep” 🧊 The ice dispenser dropped a cube and muttered, “Metallic, hypnotic, and somehow still human.. I could melt to this” ☕ The coffee machine bubbled and said, “Loop me into this highway forever, I’m vibing with every mile” 🛣️ Cheers for the trip, Steve, smooth ride all the way.

Lots of people moving to the state of AZ
The desert seems like a nice a nice place to be
The only problem is there’s not enough H20

But it feels a lot closer on a hot Arizona day

There’s not enough snowpack on the mountains up high
They say the Colorado river’s running dry
They’re ripping up lawns, replacing them with rocks
Instead of going barefoot, you walk around in crocs
The polar glaciers are melting in to the sea
I wish that they could scoop up an iceberg and drop it down on me

Most of the rain falls in the summer
Monsoon season can be a real bummer
You get a big dust storm, they call it a haboob
You can watch scary videos on You Tube
You’ll be driving and suddenly you can’t see
You gotta make sure you don’t crash into a cactus or a tree

A long time a ago, it must have been tough without air conditioning
People just had to sit around all day moaning and bitching 
Now the biggest thing we complain about is our high electric bill

FAREWELL FOR A SHORT TIME excerpt

This is the first in a series of eight easy, acoustic, rather short and inconclusive tracks, which I’ve assembled by working on new and reworking on some old material adding parts and sounds. 
Will anything actually happen in the end? Unlikely. Definitely not here. Here it’s a montage of bare arpeggios in various keys.
I recorded this some weeks ago: sorry about the guitar sound, the string squeak is a bit too much; now, I hope to have fixed that investing in a better and more expensive set of strings.

Explanation: Why is there a huge eye in the sky? Diamond dust. That is an informal term for small ice crystals that form in the air and flitter to the ground. Because these crystals are geometrically shaped, they can together reflect light from the Sun or Moon to your eyes in a systematic way, causing huge halos and unusual arcs to appear. And sometimes, together the result can seem like a giant eye looking right back at you. In the featured image taken in the Ore Mountains of the Czech Republic last week, a bright Moon rising through ice fog-filled air resulted in many of these magnificent sky illusions to be visible simultaneously. Besides Moon dogs, tangent arcs, halos, and what's called a 'a parselenic circle', light pillars above distant lights are visible on the far left, while Jupiter and Mars can be found just inside the bottom of the 22-degree halo. "

Proud to announce my first collaboration with folk string artist extraordinaire Don Jennings.  Don establishes the feel of the song with his strong rhythm strumming--almost the feel of a Celtic stomp, trying to get the mud off one's boots, but allows me plenty of space for my Requinto guitar that sounds a little like a mandolin in the center-left channel. Concept:  Create a narrow gauge train engine sound as it is coming to and passing through a crossing using a Bastl Kastle 1.5 Mini Modular Synthesizer. The work is almost an experimental techno piece but I'll settle with calling it 'electronic'. After a bit of research on what these trains sound like the one sound that is quite accurate is the bell sound. The other running engine sounds are close enough too. 

Mastered on September 7, 2025 using Bandlab Mastering:  Mastering Preset is Universal, Intensity is 50%, Input Gain is -3.8 dB. Effects changed prior to mastering. 

Instrument:  Baslt Kastle 1.5 Mini Modular Synthesizer. 

Signal Path:  Kastle 1.5 Audio-out to Rucci 4-chnl Passive Mixer out to USB Audio Adapter mic/line-in to Chromebook to Bandlab.
