I dedicate this list to the more rock-ish, indie, psychodelic, maybe a bit prog stuff i discover which i have to put on this specific list!  Various stuff hitting some nerve, more or less, firing up that gray matter! Mixture of more calm, harsh, psychotic and maybe also soothing stuff, instrumentals and also vocal stuff. Mixed up in a way that it is hopefully a unique listen experience.

We have a very unique sound and it is a lot of fun to work on music in a band, as suddenly everything goes 4 times as fast, as 4 brains are working and 4 styles are coming together.
This song was created, as Tot. had sent me a drum synth track which was already epic and dark, when nothing had been added.
So I played a bass line and sent this to Ken and Andrea who immediately came back with their parts, which I then mixed and mastered.
I hope you will like it very much guys.

Initially this started out as a jam on a looper. Instead of using a reverse delay pedal I recorded all the guitar parts into Maschine Mk3 and then reversed the lead to get a backward tape effect (I can't seem to get reverse delays to do exactly what I want.....!?!).

This track was written using my prompt-based 'Polka Poker' aleatory method. 

Many of the original prompts in this track are present, but there's a fair amount of creative license used to make it all work together too. Like the lead guitar being quite dynamic in the mix instead of just 'quiet'. But these prompts were never intended to be hard and fast rules but creative aids to encourage and inspire.

As I was growing up, I had a love and fascination of all the great prog rock coming out of the UK. Gentle Giant was like no other group at the time, and I spent hours listening to their music, constantly amazed at the songwriting and musicianship, as well as their totally unique approach. I did my best to cover one of their tracks from the very first album I heard from their output, “The Power and the Glory”. I worked my way backwards through their catalog and to this day, consider this group as one of my true inspirations to try to do something a little different.

I spent two years making Punto Ártica album as a whole, and I mostly played my mom’s Spanish guitar in the spare time. This theme and chords got shape with time, without any plan, in some different variations I’ve tried to remember and craft here.

Even a 7/4 vocal section had come up. In the spirit of this new profile, I asked Codi (https://soundcloud.com/noisealter) to adapt my translation of a poem I wrote when my age was about 1/3 than now (see below), and he also sung it with the passion and delivery I was looking for !!
