Joe Romano aka Dataworx has been producing electronic music under various aliases, for well over a decade and is based out of Canada. Several of his projects include: Dataworx, FPS and Solarscape including many others. After experimenting with various forms of music over the years, Dataworx has been his biggest success to date, which he began in 2007 and is best described as a blend of Techno / Tech House. One of his early collaborations: &#8220;Adam K &amp; Dataworx Pushin&#8221; released in the summer of 2007 instantly shot up the charts, hitting No.1 overall on Beatport. Moving into 2008, and continually tweaking and refining his sound Dataworx teamed up with Matteo DiMarr. Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic are no strangers to the underground dance scene. Responsible for ownership of the platinum Mistique Music and Kunai imprints that continue to chart an impressive path with their roster of talent, the trio are themselves responsible for some six-hundred production credits. Thus, work for the likes of Baroque, Perspectives Digital and ICONYC, showcase flair and talent in equal measure, with the latter responsible for the July 2017 "Witchcraft" EP, including a remix from the legendary figure of Jimmy Van M. Joining the ranks of Proton Music with a debut original release, "Gamma Rays" is a joyous voyage through sumptuous melody and trademark dance floor domination. Building effortlessly with intricate percussive groove and dominant kick, a running bass line and off-beat hi-hat provide urgency. An emotive chord progression and pulsating white-noise effects in a stripped back breakdown then supply the perfect precursor for rhythm and melody to converge once more in the third movement, to stunning effect.

Operating out of the cosmopolitan Montreal, Tone Depth, is an artist with an impressive reputation and portfolio to his name. Responsible for music that has been featured on Global Underground, Renaissance and Bedrock in the first decade of the millennium, a "spiritual epiphany" in 2015, afforded him the opportunity to draw breath outside of city life and re-evaluate his musical passions. Thus, a "sweeping new sound" was born that has seen Tone Depth hit the catalogues of Noir Music, Jee Productions and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat. Furthermore, the creation of the Bad Pony imprint has provided a vehicle for both his own work and a host of talented producers. Making an impressive debut on Proton Music with Simply City, and July 2017's "Glass Elevator", Tone Depth now returns with a remix that sees the textured pads so resonant in the original, transformed above a dramatic and pounding club groove that hypnotises with its percussive prowess. A barrage of pressurised steam effects pan the stereo spectrum as the melodic riff, so central to Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic's work, rises and falls throughout, clearly making its presence felt in a delicious breakdown.

Dutch pair, Mononoid, have become highly respected figures in the underground dance scene. Finding a natural home on the Einmusika imprint with a score of production credits and a debut album in May 2017's "Coming Home", the duo has carved out a niche for themselves with their "unique mixture of cinematographic and melodic techno forms". Further work has found itself featuring on Click Records and a collaboration with countryman, Navar, on the "Dreambox EP" for microCastle, while July 2017's remix of Dan Sieg for Mango Alley sits alongside a high-profile King Unique rework. Making a 2015 debut on Particles with the "Lack of Evidence" EP, a trio of remixes is now followed by a fourth as Mononoid take the textured pads of "Gamma Rays" and treat them to an intelligent and highly original workout, courtesy of an array of additional production material. Keeping the hypnotic vibe of the original intact, a haunting lead line meanders across mid-range with veritable ease as a pounding kick, urgent percussive cadence and a host of effects, create a visionary new interpretation worthy of the "Overseas Rework" name.
