I had the very good fortune to connect with Andy H aka “Noobly” a few months ago over music that we mutually admired and we agreed to find a future opportunity to collaborate. This is the result. Noobly’s beautifully rich track, propelled by his soaring guitar work, felt like a kind of call to prayer to my ear. I tried to echo this somewhat in singing the bridge. Lyrically, just for kicks I used the Socratic Method to construct the verses (persuasion through Q&A) so that this song’s meaning becomes self-evident and hopefully more of a personal experience for each listener. I just want to say I'm beyond honored to be the subject of such adoration from my musical family here. Carl really knows how to make a brother feel special, and he did it for me this time, with the help of some of our EC extended family. Here's Carl's write up. 
"Mr Bringer-er Together-er is Josh. You may also know him as artist Entheogenic Psychnought, or the spine of Eclectic Collective. We all came across Josh in our own lucky ways, but he really sets a high bar for spreading constructive musical love and encouragement on SoundCloud. This song started out as a comment. I (Carl/TBD) went to call Josh Mr Bringer-er Together-er and my phone auto corrected it. the next morning K2 swooped in and said what I wanted so I used that as a trigger for the song.
So, I had a rough arrangement. We then invited a few artists, except Josh, to paint it for him. Scratch Kelly, aka Sarah, beamed through some amazing vocals. Not long behind Joe Stroffolino painted in some brilliant backing vox. Then Scotty (One Man Verity Show) chimed in with some amazing guitar, trippy backing vocals, and the super artwork you get to enjoy. Mark brushed in a triangle and some vox, and then Ken added those trusty drums. Tez then strutted in and added some super lead guitar, and not far behind him was Stephen with some epic rhythm guitar that showed the way for the song from that point of view showing a much better space to all the other instruments than the original demo guitar. That was a lovely lesson on less is more...

The song was now ready to give to the main man for him to paint, and he chose his trusty bass to put some strawberries on his own musical cake.

I now stared at 37 tracks and went... Hmmm Stephen, Help! Stephen mixed and mastered it to its crisp current form, and it was a very difficult mix. He basically had to merge 3 projects to one and really aced the challenging mix and master like the true shaman he is. We hope you enjoy the song that brought us together again. May it give us more togetherness like Josh so wonderfully demonstrates everyday

This year is the 50th anniversary of the ABC Movie of the week Trilogy of Terror- It was 3 chilling adaptions of 3 short stories written by the great sci fi author Richard Matheson. The late Karen Black ( not only a wonderful actress,she was also a great singer and songwriter) starred in all 3 of the features playing 4 characters.  As 12 year old kids of course we were the most horrified and terrified by the final story Amelia - a  story about  a demonic warrior doll that comes to life and starts attacking poor Ms. Black

 Starts out pretty chill but the last 10 mins of that film were very intense for us in 1975 ..we kids couldn't sleep well for a few nights .. I wrote the song as an homage to the story/movie/Ms. Black ( she didnt really like the movie) as well as using the story as  metaphor for the demons that live in us all

Emergence. Our humanity. Humans being humane... It's actually quite a selfish term when you reflect on what we mean for evolution up to this point. We are the first known beings that can reason their full existence and we have become that destroyer of natural selection from before we existed even though we have the ability to reflect on the importance of all those niches to the system itself.

This is very dangerous as we are not only affecting the climate but it looks like the balanced web of life that has built up slowly through billions of years allowing humans exist.

Gaia theory suggest that harmony and connection with everything is the way forward. We do this through endeavouring to understand this place properly and appreciation for everything. I believe in connecting with everything neuroplasticity can take over and rewire our brains to the system and a path on the greater good for all life. We need this to emerge collectively for it to flourish and become that positive beacon the present and future needs... The signs are there and we are analogies for the larger system. Just like a fake human forest is comparable but has no where near the strength of one that took millions of years and started as an amoeba... Don't insult the idea of the greater good being some confusing God wrapped thing you don't have to worry about being an atheist or agnostic. It's the greater good for a snail or you or a blade of grass and has nothing to do with anything we don't understand now.
