A calm oriented chill beat with Japanese and Asian influences. A very calm and nostalgic, dreamy and peaceful piece in the modern Japanese style. Erhu and the electric piano give a completely different sound.

From my Album "Selected Chillwave Works Volume 1"  (On Bandcamp & Spotify) )This synthwave, chillwave, electronic genre track in based on a news article about a Japanese man having a digital holographic girlfriend that talks to him using AI, that was simply the inspiration. other than that I wanted the track to sound really good and listenable. It is an incredibly complex track below the surface as I wanted to make something as original as possible that would sound great in 100 years too. Bopping Down Mayfield

This is a song that started as a stem with which Ian (IPG1) let Tez and I play. Tez made the riddim and added the guitar, producing a chord structure with which for me to work. I added bass, piano, synth, and sitar. Tez produced and mixed the whole thing. Ian's rapping is the centerpiece of the whole thing, though. Both of these guys are very special and talented. We hope you enjoy the song.

Spielberg’s famous anti-war film, Saving Private Ryan, depicts a mission by US soldiers, led by Captain John Miller, to extract James Ryan whose three brothers were killed in battle. The mission is ordered in order to spare Ryan’s family the loss of all their sons. Ryan is saved, but the captain is killed. His dying words to Ryan are ‘earn it’. The film ends, fast forwarding many decades where Ryan, now an older man, stands at John Miller’s grave, reflecting on whether he has led a good life, whether he has lived up to Miller’s beseeching words to ‘earn it’. ‘Tell me I have led a good life’, ‘Tell me I’m a good man’, he says. It's a moving scene, reflecting an intimate internal tale, one about self-doubts and moral debts. I always liked this film, and I thought the theme of moral self-reflection and doubt – doubts about who we are, really – might form the basis for a song. 
And this is that song.

Song Notes:
For those who have expressed an interest in how I record my acoustic guitar, I use two small diaphragm condenser mics set up in an XY pattern mounted on a stereo bar within a reflexion filter. I record identical versions of the guitar tracks and then select one for the stereo left channel and one for the stereo right channel. 
Soundcloud has proved to be a wonderful place to connect with musicians and with people who love to listen to music all over the world. There is something truly magical and inspirational about receiving feedback from someone who has listened to my music. 
It’s incredible to be able to post a song on Soundcloud and know that someone - maybe on the other side of the planet - or as the song says "...down in the delta..." has somehow connected with my music.

Songster version was a little ‘copla’ about not being able to be with, nor without, a loved person.  As usual, I’ve ‘upgraded’ it, process from which you only get the final result, normally. 

But, following lyrics’ contradictions, I not only serve parts with different levels of (dis)order in heavy rock - flamenco sauce, but raw vs very cooked parts as well, starting with the improvised phone recording of the very first idea I had to develop the song, so please excuse my failures and noises.
