Born in Greece and now based in London, artist Steve Mill has been building momentum and turning heads with a consistent stream of quality releases on top imprints such as Madhouse, UrbanTorque and Muak. Although he certainly is influenced by the history of Deep House and Garage, there is a modern toughness and grit to Steve's work that sets him apart from his peers in the emergent UK scene. His tracks also possess a hefty dash of soul, which is why he is a perfect fit for the current Large Music ethos and a complimentary member of our growing team.

The title track gets this collection started, with lots of shuffle and a dynamic vocal hook that gets deep into your subconscious after only a few plays. It strikes the perfect blend between catchy bounce and Nu Garage swagger. The remaining two selections highlight the darker and slightly edgier side of Steve's work with Games We Play being a particular stand out.

Seamless Recordings brings you the brand new release from Steve Mill. The now UK based Greek producer has been releasing tracks on some of the world's best known labels such as Urban Torque, Large Music, Global Underground, Elevation, Plastic City, Mood Music, Balance, Salted Music and most notably Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records. His productions have received praise and been played by a wide range of reputable DJs such as John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Ben Watt, The Timewriter and Laurent Garnier.

Steve started working closely with London-based label Urban Torque and from there, he built a solid relationship with leading house music specialist, Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records. After his debut release on the label, Steve returned with a hefty remix package for his standout track ‘You Really Know’, with reworks from Citizen and Supernova. Steve has also featured on Boiler Room TV, in a session for a Madhouse Records takeover in London alongside Kerri Chandler, Phil Asher, and Citizen. Since then he has had more m,ore releases on Madhouse, Muak Music, and most recently on Large Music, which picked up support from the likes of Kyodai, Giom, Tony Rodriguez, and Moodtrap. He continually plays at various venues across London including Basing House, Rhythm Factory, and The Vibe Bar.

For his first release on Seamless, he has teamed up with vocalist Maria Marcial, who has previously worked with Tony Lionni and been released on Madhouse Records. As you can expect from his previous releases on Madhouse Records, this has solid house groove much alike Kerri Chandler himself. With classic chords and bass line working together this emanates a classy flavour that is for sure to be a hit with the more classic and soulful house crews and this also comes with an instrumental version for those who prefer no vocals in their sets.

For remixes we have the highly rated and up & coming Illyus and as well as Dimitri Anagnostou.

Illyus, as been riding on the crest of a wave recently along with his studio partner Barrientos. With a string of strong releases on Love & Other and Glasgow Underground. His last few tracks being constantly been played on BBC Radio 1, and has been supported by Skream, Danny Howard, Annie Mac, B Traits amongst many on the station. Illyus and Barrientos have been invited to do many a guest mix recently on BBC Radio 1 for B Traits and Skream, aswell as for Mistajam on BBC 1 Xtra. After listening to his remix it's easy  to see why. The production is faultless, the groove is large and this works a dream on the dance floor, with a hint  old school flavour, stripped vocals and Todd Terry-esq hi hats and bass line driving the track along this is a quality peak time house track and one set to be massive this winter.

Dimitri Anagnostou pitches in with a quality pure deep house number. With chunky beats and a journey like progressive feel to the production, chords floating in the background and pad swirls flowing through, this uses a little more of the vocal but keeps more of the soulful essence of the original mix,  but yet giving the track a different deep house twist.

Steve Mill returns to Large for his third release with a spectacular 2 track collection. After spending several months in his childhood home of Greece, Steve has moved back into London for 2015 with a new sense of focus and musical direction. These cracking new productions show that he is a man on a mission: two tense and moody grooves here that are filled with energy but grounded in soul.

The fifth release on ZR back in 1991, "Do What You Feel" was the track that really put Dave Lee on the map. The song was one of the anthems of the era and became a Top 40 pop hit when later signed to Virgin/10.
 
Unlike many classic dance tracks its never been remixed but now we are releasing 3 new updates. The JN Revival Mix keeps much of the original music but beefs up the drums and bass to make for super fat sounding update. Supernova take the track to a stripped back techy direction for bigger rooms. Whilst Steve Mill's remix is a touch deeper but retaining the magic of the original.

This October will see Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse imprint offer up an eleven-track compilation in the shape of ‘Madhouse Amsterdam 2015’.

The Madhouse imprint was launched in 1992 by Kerri Chandler and since its inception has been a driving force in the world of underground house having released material from the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Roy Ayers, Tony Lionni and of course the label-founder himself. Here we see the label, two decades deep, continue its momentum with more hard-hitting house cuts.

Across the eleven tracks we hear the New Jersey house aficionado deliver a slew of exciting new talent via his long running imprint, with established contemporary house producer Washerman delivering fresh original material. Plus a string of newcomers such as W&O Tracks Rhythm Operator
