On the forefront of the electronic music scene, Louie Cut blends old school influences with original and futuristic sound design and composition, drenching it in funk.

Nominated for track of the year in 2011 and 2012 at the Beatport Music Awards. Peaked 4th place at the Billboard Electronic/Dance chart. The only artist to have had a record 14+ tracks in the Beatport Minimal chart at the same time. Louie is snatching the world’s attention and turning some of the biggest international dance floors upside down with his unique take on minimal techno and house.

2011 was a milestone year in Louie’s career, with several singles hitting number 1 in the Beatport Minimal Charts and the birth year of his label Strict Recordings, the home to his many hits, including “Drop That” that has clocked over 1.25 million plays on Soundcloud.

Strict hostes his three full length albums, collaborations with Alex Stein (“Let Go”), Avrosse (too many to name) and more, as well as acting as his avenue to globally expose up and coming or established talents from around the world; focusing on unique, dark and funky minimal techno.

In 2018 he started is new imprint “Rare Youth”. A platform on which Louie’s creativity flourishes. The collective works with House Music x Underground Events x Clothing Design.

Currently touring around the world, Louie is constantly featuring at festivals and revered clubs in countries including Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Spain, Finland, UK, Portugal, United States, France, Australia, South Korea, Hungary, Ireland, Switzerland and more.

Torsten Kanzler stands for impulsive and powerful techno. Like a chief engineer he operates his set and takes the crowd into a universe of mind-blowing drum-arrangements, creaking synths and warm growling basslines, using „Maschine“ of Native Instrument, two Allen & Heath Xone K2, and an iPad. His direct interaction combined with a spontaneous set with up to four decks spinning make his sets a true happening.
His gigs in all the high places around the globe stand for powerful and profound techno as well as his numerous productions, which make their way into well-known international acts' record bags. Numerous releases on in-demand labels or his own with passion run imprint TKR stand on their own and reflect his obsession and love for techno. Spricht man im Milieu der malenden Künstler von der „Neuen Leipziger Schule“, so würde man in der Zunft der Discostahl drehenden Elektronikklangerzeuger Sino Sun einer solchen Gattung zuordnen. Stilistisch pendelt Sino Sun heute zwischen neuem Electro, minimalem Rave und etwas forscherem House Sound. Und House ist für ihn die Wiege allen Ursprungs – damit begann er, egal welcher speziellen Auslegung, sei es klassisch, mit Gesang, oder eher synthetisch – Hauptsache House. Heute darf es ein wenig mehr sein, schließlich will Sino Sun keine Begrenzung seines Sounds. Diese Entwicklung ist durchaus natürlich, denn Sino Sun spielt häufig – testet, experimentiert, verwirft und nutzt die Überraschung. Dieser Prozess führt zwangsläufig zur Erweiterung des Spektrums und sorgt für die Vielschichtigkeit in seiner Darbietung. Aber nur das Auflegen allein genügt einem Hyperaktiv- Kreativen nicht aus, schließlich ist er auf das Aufspüren und Vermarkten der richtigen Strömung spezialisiert. Klar also, dass er sich vielerorts für das Gelingen von Tanzfesten verantwortlich zeigt – quasi der Mann mit dem sicheren Gespür das Szene- Pulsieren frühzeitig zu erspüren.

If one talks about the milieu of the painting artists from the "Neuen Leipziger" school, one would assign Sino Sun in the guild of the disco steel turning electronic sound generators, to such genre. In terms of style, today he keeps changing between new Electro, minimal Rave and brisk House sound. For him House is the cradle of any origin - with it he starts spinning vinyl, no matter which special interpretation, whether it is classical, with vocal or synthetic - the main thing for him is House. Today it can be a little bit more, after all Sino Sun doesn't want a limitation of his sound. This development is quite normal, because the musican often plays - tests, experiments, rejects and uses the surprise. This process inevitably leads to extend the spectrum and ensures the great complexities in his performances. But only spinning vinyl is not enough for the hyperactive-creative artist, after all he is specializes in divine and market the right trend. It's clear that the artist is responsible for the success of Dance Festivals in many places - the man with the serious sense of feeling the scene pulse early on.
