Here´s our 48th Podcast mixed by...

...Stefan Luciano (Stefan Naumann) from Karl-Marx-Stadt., Germany. He discovered the love of music in the early childhood with playing instruments. At the age of 15 he began the first time to work with 2 CD players to mix music, a short time later, the first mixer was bought. But that wasn't enough, in 2003 he bought his first turntables. He spend days and nights on it, to become the techniques and skills, he also spent countless time with another friend in the studio for various projects. At this time he became a known Hip Hop &amp; Crew - Dj in his homeland. A few years later when the “Real Hip Hop” was dead, he decided to change his musical position, because he didn’t want to stop at this point. He  discovered his love to the electronic music scene…whether it’s Techno, DeepHouse or TechHouse, the main thing is the love of the people for his sets and to reach them hearts and soul.
At time he's interested in remixing songs and produce his own tracks in nearly future.

Chicago-based chillout producer, Edamame, delivers his 14-track album, Bask on Gravitas Recordings. The project is a balmy breeze, warping through feelings of absolute bliss and unadulterated serenity. While the compositions embrace an ambient motif, expressive percussion and graceful melodies weave energy throughout. Fans of CloZee, Bonobo, and Random Rab will resonate with this release.

Setting the tone for the album, “Kishi Kaisei” blends angelic vocals with vivid drums. On “Sable,” Edamame and his Loci Records cohort Tor construct a dreamlike state through atmospheric and hypnotic sounds. The title track “Bask” tides in and out with a soothing bassline, feathered synths, and subtle vocals. “Passim”, which features the illustrious Emancipator, romances the ear drums by way of steelpan, sitar, and rolling percussion that culminates into a sensual outro.

Welcome to the third mix that we will share in this already magical year of 2018. Out of all the artists that we have ever met, Luis is one of my personal favourites. 

The relationship between an artist and promoter is sometimes challenging. As soon as we work with an artist we try to support them in every way possible. They have become our family. And that is what we do. It was SUPER difficult in the beginning to find the perfect balance between that support and booking artists new to The Gardens. 

Luis is going to premier inside The Gardens in 2018, EVEN THOUGH he had his eye on the vision & vibe of The Gardens as soon as it started. He would send me music on a monthly basis. Beautiful, gripping, EXTRAORDINARY music. 

Now... The pieces have fell into the puzzle.

His mix is simply divine. See this as the introduction of an artist that you will experience often this year.

That’s how DJ Joma describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his parents’ eclectic combination of disco music (Shep Pettibone, Luther Vandross, Donna Summer, Chic), European electronica (Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream), synth-infused 80s music (Depeche Mode, New Order, Pet Shop Boys)… all which became infused with his own love for house music, he ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.

Today, after playing for 24 years, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best: beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks… all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.

He is renowned for his storytelling sets and his carefully crafted, elegant sound, he never fails to submerse his listeners in a beautifully progressive, melodic deep-house trance. Built on years of experience and respected for staying true to his sound, he has managed to create a musical-realm of his own.
His soundtracks are filled with exquisite melodies and harmonising vocals, equally suited to night time clubbing as they are for sunrise or sunset sets.

A very active member of his local dance music community, he is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of the dance music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, beach clubs, boat parties and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As event manager and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically. He has taken his sound and events from the UK to Eastern Europe and Croatia & Montenegro in particular, where he aspires to make every experience better than the last, through passion and purpose.

“For me, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realising it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. “
