The past year has seen Alan Fitzpatrick collaborating with Sasha, Skream and most recently, Grammy Award winning duo Camelphat. With a string of successful releases under their belt and so many amazing demos landing in Alan’s inbox each week, ‘We Are The Brave’ proudly announce their debut VA - ‘Electric Soul Music Vol. 1’ due to be released in May 2019. 

Consisting of 20 tracks, the VA features a wide selection of artists; core artists making their return to the label alongside fresh talent who have caught Alan’s attention in recent months. 

The core ‘We Are The Brave’ roster acts are back with a vengeance, delivering their usual sounds, full of energy and oozing attitude. Reset Robot offers his euphoric and emotive track ‘Evolver’ while A.S.H makes his comeback with the seriously acidic rave beat ‘Agenda’ managing to successfully merge trance and techno. Skream makes a welcome return with ‘SleepyTime’, loaded with industrial drums and sharp ricocheting sonics, the track creates a paradise of stabs and wonky 5am dreams. Not forgetting the label boss himself, ‘Treat Me Like A Whore’ see’s Alan at his best, incorporating 90’s clubland vocal stabs, in an anthem style track.

Many new artists are also making their debut on the label; Southampton duo  Collective States set the tone with their opening track ‘Recogniser’, an ‘acid-renaissance’ floor filler sure to cause a storm in the clubs. Lazar, Joe Blake, Denney, VONDA7 X Raito all deliver some serious progressive big room beats, synonymous with the ‘We Are The Brave’ sound. Superstrobe & Dominik Vaillant, Konrad and newcomers KUSP offer up their energetic, heads down, late-night techno cuts. 

Alias features a seriously uplifting slice of tech with ‘Body Kontrol’ featuring an undeniably catchy vocal. On a similar tip, Matt Sassari and Oscar L team up for the first time to create the powerful percussive stomper that is ‘A Different Day’. 
Among all these new names, of course Alan welcomes back Frankyeffe, uhnknwn, Rudosa, 9th House and Linus Quick who all get into the mix with some absolute gems. Not forgetting Avision dropping in some NY soul for good measure.

After a flying start with MINUS001, which saw support from industry mainstays Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Boxia
and John Digweed, T-Minus returns this July with more heavy artillery.
The brainchild of electronic music tastemakers T in Techno, T-Minus has one ethos; to bring solid underground
techno to the UK, and every track on this EP hits the mark. Across the four records finds a peak-time foray
courtesy of ALT8’s unique interpretation on UK techno, complimented by a rocket-fuelled remix from the USbased Sara Landry.
Ireland’s fast rising producer ALT8 opens up his debut on T-Minus with the lead track ‘Cristoball’; a late-hours
techno stomper with a clear focus of getting the dance floor moving. Thick low end combined with raw
industrial synths grip the rhythm, before an uplifting break rounds off a record you won’t be forgetting anytime
soon.
‘Transcend’ ups the ante with a rough-and-ready acid line which cuts like a trekker’s machete through the
jungle trees. Haunting vocals and a hair-raising breakdown leave the listener transcending to a higher level
ahead of the hefty drop.
Keeping the tempo high with a 140bpm in-your-face stomper is Sara Landry’s chaotic remix, the energy on this
track isn’t to be underestimated. Hardstyle drums and vicious synth lines add an entirely new dynamic to
‘Transcend’. It’s not for the faint-hearted.
‘Tremor’ brings the EP to a close; a wistful, melodic inspired record crafted for those looking to close their eyes
and float away to the rhythm. Stripped-back percussion and soaring melodies ensure the groove, with clean
lows to keep the room two-stepping. A solemn close to this stellar EP.

[MINUS002] ALT8 - Transcend (Sara Landry Remix)

Currently considered as one of a few pioneers for the new era of Hard Techno music, Steve Shaden marked the Techno and Hard Techno scene worldwide with countless productions that brought to him success and acclamation from colleagues and the public.

His productions are characterized by very aggressive kicks and basses, modern grooves, and a strong influence from the early sounds of hardstyle, hard trance, and progressive techno from the early 90s.

Graduated in music production and sound engineering and a teacher within the same subject, Steve got his music supported by artists like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Charlotte De Witte, Chris Liebing, Dax J, Ellen Alien, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, as well as played in the major world festivals ranging from Awakenings to Tomorrowland and the Kappa Future Festival to name a few.

After releasing on world-famous labels within the Techno and Hard Techno panorama, Steve entered in 2014 to the Beatport TOP100 Hard Techno artists. Shortly following his debut he started to rise through the ranks where he found himself at the top of the list in 2018.  

In the same year, he was also awarded the title of best Hard Techno producer by the famous German magazine “Faze Magazine”, cementing him as an international symbol of this music genre.

Alongside the recording and engineering business, since 2014 to date, he has played in 15 different countries, spreading his sound in the most prestigious clubs throughout Europe, as well as performing exclusive DJ sets for FM radios all over the world.
Among the latter, we remember his participation in the "KNTXT invites" by Charlotte De Witte, aired in May 2019 on the Belgian radio Stu Bru.

Today Steve also runs also a Sound mastering studio and two successful record labels, EXE, and LEVEL. Finally, he also collaborates with the German school SINEE as a sound designer.
