Ramiro Lopez drops the electrifying follow up to his ‘Pretending’ EP from May this year. 

For almost a decade, Spain’s Ramiro Lopez has established himself as one his country’s leading proponents of techno, with strong releases across labels that include Suara, Intec, Octopus Recordings and Bedrock. He first debuted on Drumcode in 2016 with the rousing collaborative track ‘Clap Your Hands’ that ranked among one of the label’s standout tracks for the year. With one Drumcode release already under his belt in 2017 and a new label project Odd Recordings with fellow DC cohort Arjun Vagale recently launched, he’s enjoying another strong year.

His return to the label comes in the form of ‘Being Alone’, a powerful trio of cuts, all of which featured in Adam Beyer’s Awakenings Festival Day 1 performance. The title track is a multi-layered weapon, propelled by a dizzying vocal, swirling synth effects and pin-sharp percussion that build toward a smooth classy finish. ‘Dark Science’ is an effective stomper brought to life by a bell chime hookline and undulating synth melody ensuring its peak-time prowess. ‘Der Raum’ rounds out the EP, highlighted by Lopez’s deft drum work, proceeded by a driving, euphoric climax.

Dast follows up his previous label smash, ‘Haradon’, with a fresh four track selection for Etruria Beat. 
Title track PHANTOM is characterized by its pause and impact reset, ambient synth and unmistakable 909
groove. The energetic INVICTUS follows, powered by its frantic synth and thumping kick. 
DYSTURBIA is a perfect union of psychedelic vocal and cavenous floor wrecking techno. Whilst closing track
CODEX, with its impetuous chord, treats us to some 90’s inspired rawness.

The second track is called Seegang. It has a mysterious beginning with dreamy pads and synth blowing on top of a strong and groovy percussion. Once the growling bassline is introduced calmness is created only to grow in power again with the help of smartly placed special effects and a never ending melody. Halfway the melody changes, gains more power and body, taking you way. It really is a track that takes a hold on you and doesn’t let go.

Arriving on the heels of Pleasurekraft's debut album, Argentine duo Beico & MT93 join the Kraftek family with their first release : Let There Be Dark EP. Brooding & dark as the name suggests, the title track goes full throttle from the getgo, armed with an infectious hook, it is a joy to watch audiences connect with the record on the dancefloor. For the flip side - fellow Argentine Nicolas Taboada joins the boys for their more melodic and emotive effort on "Polaris". After an excellent performance at Drumcode Festival, Tiger Stripes comes strong with his first EP on the label since 2009.

Since 2015 Tiger Stripes has been an invaluable contributor to Drumcode’s ‘little brother’ Truesoul. As recent as March he released ‘Sound of the Bettest’ in collaboration with Riva Starr, their fresh raggainfluenced take on techno entrenched as a 2018 highlight for the label. Drawing from a wide palette of sounds to craft his groovy, personality-laden take on techno, the Swede has produced arguably his finest work yet with the ‘Insanity’ EP. ‘Baby’ is a melting pot of three decades worth of influences, from James Brown, to Northern Soul and indie pop of Ariel Pink.

The result is a stunning kaleidoscopic techno treat, that brims with rave, garage and funky house spirit. ‘Insane’ is a dynamic feast for the eardrums as trippy arpeggios, a persistent vocal and lush synth leads cascade throughout the seven-minute track. ‘Too Deep (to Bear) follows, an exhilarating slice of late-night techno before the EP concludes with ‘Dying Planet’, mixing up a potent environmental message with tough dancefloor functionalism.

Currently considered as one of a few pioneers for the new era of Hard Techno music, Steve Shaden marked the Techno and Hard Techno scene worldwide with countless productions that brought to him success and acclamation from colleagues and the public.

His productions are characterized by very aggressive kicks and basses, modern grooves, and a strong influence from the early sounds of hardstyle, hard trance, and progressive techno from the early 90s.

Graduated in music production and sound engineering and a teacher within the same subject, Steve got his music supported by artists like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Charlotte De Witte, Chris Liebing, Dax J, Ellen Alien, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Sam Paganini, as well as played in the major world festivals ranging from Awakenings to Tomorrowland and the Kappa Future Festival to name a few.

After releasing on world-famous labels within the Techno and Hard Techno panorama, Steve entered in 2014 to the Beatport TOP100 Hard Techno artists. Shortly following his debut he started to rise through the ranks where he found himself at the top of the list in 2018.  

In the same year, he was also awarded the title of best Hard Techno producer by the famous German magazine “Faze Magazine”, cementing him as an international symbol of this music genre.

Alongside the recording and engineering business, since 2014 to date, he has played in 15 different countries, spreading his sound in the most prestigious clubs throughout Europe, as well as performing exclusive DJ sets for FM radios all over the world.
Among the latter, we remember his participation in the "KNTXT invites" by Charlotte De Witte, aired in May 2019 on the Belgian radio Stu Bru.

Today Steve also runs also a Sound mastering studio and two successful record labels, EXE, and LEVEL. Finally, he also collaborates with the German school SINEE as a sound designer.
