Infusing sweet harmonies, melody and deep grooves to create a soulful RnB/Rootz Reggae sound that is PAUA REGGAE MUSIC.

They have proven on stage and in the studio their ability to produce an undeniable presence and chemistry that crosses over and reaches any audience. 

Hailing from Brisbane this 7-piece collective is extending their message to the world, as Jay - Lead Vocals/Songwriter says; 

“We’re out to create and share our music through a blend of spirit and drive that shines of uniqueness, quality professional musicianship and lyrics that have both meaning and inspiration”.

2010 saw Paua really take off, starting with their hour-long live set recording for local Brisbane radio station, 4ZZZ. The response was incredible, catapulting Paua’s music to stages across Australia and New Zealand and to airwaves around the world.

From there, Paua hit Australia’s live music scene hard, winning fans at festivals, clubs and pubs all over the East and West Coast.

With the 2011 release of Paua’s self-titled debut album, the groups popularity grew ten-fold and saw their smash hit “Coming Home”, reach #7 on the 2012 New Zealand iTunes Reggae Chart. 

With two tours to New Zealand under their belt by mid-2012, Paua have established themselves as one of Australia and New Zealand’s most promising upcoming reggae acts. 
 
Fresh from their nominations for three categories at the 2012 Waiata Maori Music Awards (Best Song by a Maori Artist, Best Maori Songwriter and Best Urban Roots Album) Paua performed alongside reggae giants ‘Katchafire’, ‘Herbs’, ‘1814’ at the hugely popular 2012 New Years Eve Festival – EXODUS. 

2013 will see Paua announce a new single release from their forthcoming sophomore album “Feel the Fire”. A highly anticipated sequel in the PAUA REGGAE MUSIC Journey.
