I own and promote the Superb JOY club nights held in and around the city of Leeds.. i am also one of the resident DJ's
Joy is one of the cities longest running club brands..


JOY was born in the illegal world of the club scene and quickly became something special. 

Partys were then had in iconic venues such as the Leeds Corn Exchange... Mint club, Stinkys and later Mission..

The music was originally 90's house, but later changed into a internationally recognised Techno brand.

I have been  lucky enough to DJ along side some of my all time favourite DJs...and meet some great people along the way

The fun does not end here,

Joy still holds a few events per year in venues that are as close as possible to the early days of Joy - the illegal years..   small and all out Atmospheric with very special guest DJs joining the superb residents...

DJ Emma is a DJ and producer.  She has a passion for the genres of funk, soul, disco and house. On this page you will find mixes and past radio shows from her time at Select Radio and also her new residency on Brighton Based Radio Station 1BTN. 
She is also a regular on her local BBC Radio Wiltshire where she curates specialist music shows and is also a Friday night resident DJ.
DJ Emma regularly DJ's around Bristol and London with gigs at The Thekla, Brixton Jamm, 93 Feet East, Spiritland and Hootenanny Brixton - she also DJ's at many of the UK festivals including Camp Bestival, Shindig, We Out Here, Wilderness and more.

Raised on a diet of love-cabbages and grits, Vertigo’s folks knew he’d grow up, just not how much.

He displayed an early prodigious talent for dance music by constantly batting hell out of pots and pans with a hammer. He then spent a huge part of his formative years on motorways and in fields and warehouses, unfortunately this was years before the rave scene happened…. reminiscing, his dad said “.....the little bugger always found his way home..”…

If you do get the chance to see him, it’s an experience not to be missed, for loads of reasons, one of which is to watch him trying to fit in some of the dj boxes...

As regards the future, in a world full of glamour models turned DJ’s, he is seriously considering the reverse route, once he’s finished spreading the gospel.

Djing and promoting since the beginning of time , has seen Paul share the turntables with some of the legends of dance. Carl Cox , Rodger Sanchez , Teisto , Sasha the list goes on blah blah ect ect . Cutting his teeth in the north of Ireland in the early 90s he was responsible for promoting some legendary nights ,The point Inn , Pure genius , maiden heaven ,Homegrown and Fusion to name a few . These days he kicks back with a supple mix of classic disco funk and re-edits at the popular Re-rub retro nights in Derry and beyond .He can also be heard at a few classic house nights up and down the country .
