I've been listening with pleasure to a lot of Luke Una mixes, what a DJ, I love how he manages to seamlessly genre, and decade, hop without a care in the world. He is a marvel. I thought I'd challenge myself to try and do the same and avoid the niches you can sometimes get into with particular genres or themes. Here is my attempt - hope you enjoy.

Emma-Jean Thackray is an award-winning London based jazz trumpeter, flugel player and producer. She has recently received the Emerging Excellence award from Help Musicians.

She brings fresh ideas to the music by fusing experimental beats and deep brass grooves of her Walrus EP, one of Bandcamp’s top jazz releases of 2016. We invited her down to audiophile venue Brilliant Corners at the end of last summer to show us some of her favourite records.
